Creating an Account Customer
In the CRM tab, in the New section of the ribbon, select Account Customer
Populate the above window, completing as many fields as possible. Click OK. Most of the fields in this window are mandatory. Adding to the lists in the dropdown menus can be done in Syrinx Configuration.
When this window pops up, choose from the selection:
‘Enter another…’ will take you back to the window to add another new account.
‘Amend details…’ will open the newly created customer card and allow you to select different settings specific to that customer.
Creating a Prospect
A Prospect is a potential customer. Quotes and call records will be stored within the Prospect, however, no transactions are able to be generated until the Prospect has been converted to either a Cash or an Account customer. This option allows you to keep a record of all interactions with the company, even before they become a customer.
In the CRM tab, in the New section of the ribbon, select Prospect.
Creating a Cash Customer
Unlike Prospects and Account customers, new Cash customers are not created in the CRM tab.
In the Hire tab, in the New section of the ribbon, select Enter Hire Contract and then click on the New Cash Customer button.
Once you click OK in the above window, the new cash customer will be accessible from the CRM tab like all other customer cards.
Cash customers do not have account numbers.
