System Default Views Updated Across Key Search Screens

We've updated the System Default views across several core search screens to give you a more consistent, familiar starting point. Updated screens include: Contracts, Stock Purchase Orders, Cross Hire Purchase Orders, Transport Purchase Orders, Purchase Invoices, Purchase Receipts, Fleet Service Jobs, Depot Transfers, Customer Service Jobs, and Contract Service Jobs. Each screen now opens with relevant columns and pre-set filters β€” such as Status pre-set to "Open" or "Confirmed" β€” so you can find what you need faster without building custom views.

Import Outstanding Invoices from Sage Intacct

When you run the Accounts Transfer Tool, Syrinx now pulls back outstanding invoices from Sage Intacct so you can advise customers. It includes "Posted" and "Partially Paid" invoices and returns remaining balances. "Paid", "Draft", and "Reversal" invoices are ignored.

πŸ’‘ Note: This does not replace customer statements, which must come from your accounts programme.

Send Purchase Invoice Disputes to Sage Intacct to Set "On Hold"

When you apply a dispute code to a purchase invoice in Syrinx, the Accounts Transfer Tool now updates Sage Intacct to set "Is on hold" to true. If the dispute field is blank, the invoice will not be on hold in Intacct.

πŸ’‘ Heads-up: This requires the Sage Intacct field that drives the hold flag to be available in your Intacct instance.

 Your Ideas: Delivered!

βœ… Set Driver Schedule Slot Width to 10, 20, or 30 Minutes

You can now set Driver Scheduler time slots to 10, 20, or 30 minutes to better reflect the actual duration of contract servicing jobs. This helps you plan routes and workloads with greater accuracy.

πŸ’‘ Heads-up: This may require role/permission updates.

βœ… Mobile Job Button Added to Amend Contract

You can now launch Mobile Job directly from Amend Contract via a new bottom-bar button, with the same visibility and behaviour as in Query Contract. This keeps the feature available when you have "Amend" privileges and streamlines your workflow.

πŸ’‘ Heads-up: This may require role/permission updates.

Mobile Updates

See Items Needing Photos in the Driver App

In the Driver App, the item list now highlights any items that need photos. You can spot outstanding photo requirements at a glance without opening each item, speeding up large jobs.

Adjust Photo Brightness and Contrast by Tapping to Focus in the Driver App

You can now tap the photo preview in the Driver App to set focus and automatically adjust brightness and contrast before capturing. This helps you take clearer, more legible images in varied lighting conditions.

Consistent Photo Orientation Across Devices

Photo orientation now behaves correctly across devices, including Samsung Galaxy S10+, A40, and A14, in both portrait and landscape (left or right) modes. Images display properly in the Photo tab when attached to an item, in the app, and in Syrinx mobile work items.

Driver App (Build 224) Photos Now Saved to Device Gallery

We fixed the Driver App, so photos taken in the app are saved to the device's gallery on Android. This helps you retrieve and share images outside the app as needed.

POR One Workshop: Failed Inspection Statuses No Longer Cleared After Refresh

We resolved an issue where tasks marked as Failed on the Inspection tab reverted to No Status Set after the app was refreshed before job completion. Your chosen statuses now persist across refreshes until you complete the job.

Payments Updates

POR Pay Address Picker Now Displays Addresses with Commas Correctly

When taking a POR Pay payment, address lines that include commas now display correctly, and the picker list shows the right addresses. This helps you select the intended address on documents such as advice notes without confusion.

Clear POR Pay Messaging When Payment Status Is Uncertain

If an unexpected error occurs after a payment request is sent, Syrinx now prompts you to check the Stripe dashboard to avoid duplicate charges. This applies to manual and tokenised payments and refunds, while normal "User canceled" messages still appear when you close the POR Pay form.

POR Pay: "Invalid Use of Null" Error Resolved

We resolved an error when taking a POR Pay manual payment for an advice note where System Options – Accounts "Default Address Type" was blank, and the customer's main invoice address had no postcode. You now get a list of addresses to choose from, so the payment can proceed.

πŸ’‘ Heads-up: Check your System Options after the update. This may require role/permission updates

eCommerce Updates

Block Login for Non-Current Contacts in Consumer Portal

Customer contacts marked non-current in Syrinx are now sent to the Consumer Portal as disabled, so they cannot log in. This helps prevent unauthorised access and keeps your customers' user lists accurate.

πŸ’‘ Heads-up: Review who should retain access; this may require role/permission updates.

Technical Updates

Duplicate Stock Numbers Not Allowed on the Same Hire Contract

Syrinx now prevents you from adding the same stock number more than once to a single contract. You will see the alert "This stock item has already been added to this contract!", helping avoid double-booking and billing errors.

Driver Scheduler Slow to Open or Refresh on Large Databases β€” Fixed

We fixed an issue where Driver Scheduler could take too long to open, refresh, or change dates on databases with many collection jobs. You now get job data back within a few seconds, helping you plan routes faster.

Driver Scheduler Filters Now Scroll Correctly

The filter screen now shows scroll bars on driver lists so you can view and select all drivers. This improves navigation and selection when you have many drivers.

New Drop-Down Entries Shown Without Requiring Refresh

We fixed several forms where newly created sites, contacts, locations, and similar values were not shown in their fields until you refreshed. Drop-downs now update immediately across Off Hire, Hire Contract, Delivery Notes, Purchase Orders, Stock Item Details, and CRM screens, reducing rework.

User Alerts Opens the Correct Depot After Selection

When you change the depot in User Alerts and open a user, the system now loads the selected depot rather than your default. This helps you review and action alerts for the correct branch/depot without misdirection.

Purchase Invoice Screen Refreshes After Confirming an Invoice

After you confirm a purchase invoice, the Enter Purchase Invoice screen now refreshes automatically. You immediately see the updated status and totals, reducing the need to navigate away or reload the screen.

Clearer Item Details for Partial Offhires in Off Hires Search

On the Off Hires search grid, partial offhire lines now show the Equipment Name and Fleet No. for the item actually being collected or offhired. This makes it clear which item the partial offhire will affect, reducing confusion on multi-item contracts.

Workshop Job Document Headers and Fonts Standardised

We've standardised the headers and fonts across workshop job documents to match our updated Crystal templates. Equipment Receipt, Service Certificate, Equipment Return, and Repair Estimate now display company name and email address correctly within the header.

Overbook Warning on Hire Contract Under Specific Configuration β€” Fixed

We fixed the overbook warning so it appears whether you type a stock number or pick from the category and stock drop-downs. The behaviour is now consistent whether "Can Set Stock No as Hire Rate" is enabled or disabled.

πŸ’‘ Heads-up: If you manage configuration, review this option after the update. This may require role/permission updates.

"Upload" Button Added to Enter Advice Note

We restored the "Upload" button on the Enter Advice Note screen so you can add documents before the note is confirmed. The button is now available in both the Enter Advice Note and Query Advice Note screens for a consistent workflow.

New Contract Service Note Shown Immediately

We corrected the Enter Contract Service Note process so that a newly created note appears immediately in the Open Contract Service Notes list. This saves you from closing and reopening the window to continue work.

Multiple Off-Hire Inspections Were Created for One Item β€” Fixed

We fixed logic that could create more than one off-hire inspection when an item on a partial off-hire was linked to multiple collection entries. Only a single inspection job is now created for the item, preventing duplicate work.

πŸ’‘ Heads-up: Behaviour also respects the "Raise Inspection on Collection" option in System Options. This may require role/permission updates.

Corrected Currency Symbols on Invoice Batch Report

We standardised currency display on the Invoice Batch report. Lines and VAT summaries no longer show currency symbols for base currency, and non-base currencies display the correct symbol per database settings. This clarifies multi-currency billing.

Prevents Double-Charging After Invoicing Unconfirmed Offhire with Minimum Days

When you invoice a contract up to an unconfirmed offhire date with minimum days to charge, the contract is no longer incorrectly re-included in later onhire batches. If later invoicing applies, only days beyond the minimum charge period are billed.

Reliable Multi-Site Consolidation for Advice Note Invoices

For customers with multi-site advice note consolidation enabled, invoices now consolidate correctly by type across sites. The system produces the expected separate invoices for standard sales advice notes and for contract charge notes.

Till Selection Restored on Cash Till Reconciliation

The Reconcile Till screen now pre-populates and allows selection of your configured till, including on single-depot systems. You can proceed with reconciliation without restarting Syrinx or using workarounds.

Collection Note Number Added to Email Subject and PDF Filename

When you email a collection note, the note number now appears in the email subject and in the attached PDF filename. This helps customers recognise the document quickly and improves traceability in your records.

Customer Phone Number Transferred to MYOB AR via Global Transfer

We corrected the MYOB AR transfer so the customer's invoice address Phone value is sent to "Phone No: 1" during customer creation/update when using the global connection. This improves data consistency between Syrinx and MYOB AR.

Syrinx 365 Now Identified Correctly in Application Lists

The desktop executable no longer reports as "Electron" and now displays as Syrinx 365. This improves clarity in device inventories and support diagnostics.

Reset Filter Button Redesigned to Avoid Confusion with Refresh

The reset filter control no longer looks like a refresh button, reducing accidental clicks. You can reset filters with confidence without mistaking it for

a data refresh.
