We are listening! Items with this label are a result of your suggestions in uInnovate. Please continue to share and support those ideas that help your business.
Items with this label are features that may require adjustments to security or configuration and may have implications for your operations or current workflows. We recommend reading these and understanding the impact prior to updating.

Configure and use Accounts Department Codes across Syrinx:
You can select a department code from a configurable drop-down or enter free text wherever department codes appear, with only 'Current' items shown. This applies to purchase invoices, customer and site records, staff, hire/sale categories, stock items, and configuration for countries and depots. Codes are sent via the transfer tool to accounting packages, such as Sage 50 and Xero. This helps cut data entry errors and keep accounts in sync.

Heads-up: Managing these codes is handled within reference lists where there are fields for ‘Code’, ‘Description’ and ‘Current’ flag. You may need to grant access for teams to maintain this list. This may require role/permission updates.

Hide non-current sites when linking to Pricing Agreements:
When adding a customer site to a Pricing Agreement, only sites marked as current are shown. This helps you find the right site faster and prevents linking to obsolete or incorrect sites.

Add Syrinx invoice and customer metadata to Stripe transactions:
Stripe payments and refunds now include Syrinx context in metadata to improve reconciliation and reporting. We added Account ID, Account Number, Customer Number, Customer Name, an invoice array, and source document references where available. This helps you trace revenue and lays the groundwork for automated reconciliation across Syrinx, Stripe and your accounts. When you log in to your Stripe account, you can find this metadata shown under ‘Metadata’ on the right-hand side of the transaction activity.

Show Stock Number first for Sales Charges in Pricing Agreements:
When adding a Sales Charge for Stock, the 'Stock No' drop-down now displays the stock number as the main text with the description as sub-text. After selection, the combo shows the stock number only. This helps you pick the correct item when descriptions are similar.

Print a Pricing Agreement from within the agreement:
You can print directly from the Pricing Agreement screen using the new 'Print' button. It calls the existing print hook used by Search Pricing Agreements, so you can generate the same report even when you open the agreement from the customer record.

Batch invoice printing respects the chosen sort order:
When printing all invoices in a batch, the document now honours the 'Sort Invoices By' selection (Account Number, Customer Name, or Invoice Number). This gives you the ability to group hire and sales advice note invoices correctly per customer, making packs easier to review and send.

Include the cross-hire off-hire document number in emails and PDFs:
When you email or print to PDF the supplier off-hire request, the subject line and PDF filename now include the crosshire purchase order (document) number. This makes it clear which supplier off-hire request is related to the file and email.

Clear validation when ePay is pressed without an amount:
Pressing 'ePay' on Add Payment/Return without an amount now shows a clear message and puts the cursor in the amount field. Once you enter a value, the payment continues as expected, replacing the previous unexpected error.

Off-hire confirmation warns when not all items are set for collection:
You now get a clear prompt if you try to confirm a full off-hire without adding all hired items to a collection, helping prevent accidental early off-hire. You can continue with your off-hire from the prompt if the items are already returned, or abandon the process, and the uncollected items will remain on hire in Stock Bookings until they are scheduled and collected, improving accuracy and reducing disputes.

Printing a collection note now creates a log entry:
When you print a collection note from an unconfirmed off-hire, Syrinx 365 now adds a log entry automatically. This improves auditability so you can trace when documents were issued.

Driver App jobs update when details change in Syrinx:
Job information such as site address now refreshes correctly in the Driver App after you update it in Syrinx 365, aligning the list view and job detail. This helps drivers work with the latest instructions and reduces misdeliveries.

‘Send Directly to Printer’ honours your print setting in Syrinx 365:
When you select 'Send Directly to Printer' in User Options, documents now print straight to your default printer without opening preview. If you choose 'Preview on Screen', the print viewer appears as expected.

Driver App checklist notes stay visible when typing on the last item:
The on-screen keyboard no longer obscures the 'Notes' field on the final checklist question, so you can see text as you type. This improves accuracy and speeds up completion of longer checklists.

Off-hire search adds 'XH – Incomplete' status for cross-hire items:
The Off-hire search now shows a red 'XH – Incomplete' status on the ‘Type’ column when a cross-hire item on the off-hire has not been off-hired with the supplier. This helps you quickly identify and prioritise outstanding cross-hire returns.

Collection summary shows 'Outstanding' quantities and highlights misses:
The off-hire collection summary now includes an 'Outstanding' column that subtracts collected quantities from the total to collect. Any value above 0 is highlighted, helping you spot and resolve missed collections at a glance.

New Data Explorer in Syrinx Config for self-serve queries and CSV export:
Access a new 'Data Explorer' in Syrinx Config to run predefined views and see results in a sortable, filterable grid, then export to CSV. Add database views prefixed 'qryDataExplorer_' to populate the list of available datasets. Heads-up: Access is permission-controlled in Config, and creating views may require DBA support. This requires the user privilege 'Data Explorer' be enabled for access to the page and see any predefined views that have been created.

Trip down memory lane

In this section, we will loop back to something released a while back and highlight a feature that maybe has been forgotten about, we weren't aware of it, and a reminder that there could be functionality available that may just improve your workflow or your day.

When emailing a hire contract or confirmation note, you send a Quiklink from Syrinx 365 which will allow the recipient to click on the link and open up a summary of the hire contract and if enabled access documents about the items on the contract, service certificates and safety instructions, more information is in the knowledge article here, Sending a Quiklink from Syrinx 365
