Workshop job document headers and fonts standardised:
We’ve standardised the headers and fonts across workshop job documents to match our updated Crystal templates. Equipment Receipt, Service Certificate, Equipment Return and Repair Estimate now display company name and email address correctly within the header. This improves readability and keeps your customer documents consistent.
Block login for non-current contacts in Consumer Portal:
Customer contacts marked non-current in Syrinx are now sent to the Consumer Portal as disabled, so they cannot log in. This helps prevent unauthorised access and keeps your customers’ organisation’s user list accurate.
Important: Review who should retain access; this may require role/permission updates.
Clearer item details for partial offhires in Off Hires search:
On the Off Hires search grid, partial offhire lines now show the Equipment Name and Fleet No. for the item actually being collected or offhired. This makes it clear which item the partial offhire will affect, reducing confusion on multi-item contracts.

Duplicate stock numbers not allowed on the same hire contract:
Syrinx now prevents you from adding the same stock number more than once to a single contract. You will see the alert 'This stock item has already been added to this contract!', helping avoid double-booking and billing errors.
New drop‑down entries shown without requiring refresh:
We fixed several forms where newly created sites, contacts, locations and similar values were not shown in their fields until you refreshed. Drop‑downs now update immediately across Off Hire, Hire Contract, Delivery Notes, Purchase Orders, Stock Item Details and CRM screens, reducing rework.
Customer phone number transferred to MYOB AR via Global Transfer:
We corrected the MYOB AR transfer so the customer's invoice address Phone value is sent to 'Phone No: 1' during customer creation/update when using the global connection. This improves data consistency between Syrinx and MYOB AR.
Overbook warning on hire contract under specific configuration:
We fixed the overbook warning so it appears whether you type a stock number or pick from the category and stock drop‑downs. The behaviour is now consistent whether 'Can Set Stock No as Hire Rate' is enabled or disabled, helping you avoid overbooking.
Heads-up: If you manage configuration, review this option after the update. This may require role/permission updates.
'Upload' button added to Enter Advice Note:
We restored the 'Upload' button on the Enter Advice Note screen so you can add documents before the note is confirmed. The button is now available in both the Enter Advice Note and Query Advice Note screens for a consistent workflow.
New Contract Service Note shown immediately:
We corrected the Enter Contract Service Note process so that a newly created note appears immediately in the Open Contract Service Notes list. This saves you from closing and reopening the window to continue work.
Corrected currency symbols on Invoice Batch report:
We standardised currency display on the Invoice Batch report. Lines and VAT summaries no longer show currency symbols for base currency, and non‑base currencies display the correct symbol per database settings. This clarifies multi‑currency billing.
Multiple off-hire inspections were created for one item across multiple collections:
We fixed logic that could create more than one off-hire inspection when an item on a partial off-hire was linked to multiple collection entries. Only a single inspection job is now created for the item, preventing duplicate work.
Heads-up: Behaviour also respects the 'Raise Inspection on Collection' option in System Options. This may require role/permission updates.
Driver Scheduler slow to open or refresh on large databases:
We fixed an issue where Driver Scheduler could take too long to open, refresh, or change dates on databases with many collection jobs. You now get job data back within a few seconds, helping you plan routes faster.
POR Pay: 'Invalid use of Null' when the Default Address Type is blank and no postcode:
We resolved an error when taking a PORPay manual payment for an advice note where System Options – Accounts 'Default Address Type' was blank and the customer's main invoice address had no postcode. You now get a list of addresses to choose from, so the payment can proceed.
Heads-up: Check your System Options after the update. This may require role/permission updates.
POR One Workshop: Failed inspection statuses no longer cleared after refresh:
We resolved an issue where tasks marked as Failed on the Inspection tab reverted to No Status Set after the app was refreshed before job completion. Your chosen statuses now persist across refreshes until you complete the job.
Driver App (build 224) photos not saved to device gallery:
We fixed the Driver App so photos taken in the app are saved to the device's gallery on Android. This helps you retrieve and share images outside the app as needed.
Trip down memory lane
In this section, we will loop back to something released a while back and highlight a feature that maybe has been forgotten about, we weren't aware of it, and a reminder that there could be functionality available that may just improve your workflow or your day.
When emailing a hire contract or confirmation note, you send a Quiklink from Syrinx 365 which will allow the recipient to click on the link and open up a summary of the hire contract and, if enabled, access documents about the items on the contract, service certificates and safety instructions, more information is in the knowledge article here, Sending a Quiklink from Syrinx 365
