Email Preview Functionality for 365 Users:
A new feature has been implemented, allowing 365 users to preview emails before sending. This functionality is enabled by selecting the 'Use 365 Preview' checkbox under the Email tab within User Options. Upon activation, the 'Send' button on the email form will open the 365 Email preview, facilitating a visual review of the email's appearance, the addition of attachments, and the execution of final adjustments before sending the email.
Enhanced Email Signature Management:
A streamlined method for configuring email signatures has been introduced. This enhancement enables the establishment of professional and branded signatures. Signature management is now facilitated through a configuration-level option on the General > Email tab and user-level options on the User Options > Email tab, with the capability to paste HTML code and preview the resulting signature.
If none of this is set up, the system will always use the HTML template in the Extras folder.
Automated Data Export Capabilities:
A new task, 'Export SQL to File', has been integrated into the Task Scheduler. This task facilitates the scheduled and automated export of SQL views and stored procedures to files. A dedicated architecture has been developed to manage export configurations, providing administrators with enhanced control over routine data outputs.
Scheduled Export Engine Implementation:
The 'Export SQL to File' task now incorporates the processing logic necessary to execute configured lists of SQL objects. If an export location and filename are specified, the results will be exported to a file. Otherwise, the stored procedure or view will be executed as required. All activity, including any anomalies, is logged within the Task Scheduler logs.
This will run through any current server objects (TP_TASK_SCHEDULER_EXPORT_SQL).
Stock Item Property Change Auditing:
Enhanced auditing for Stock Item User Property fields (properties 1 to 50) has been activated. Any modifications or updates to these fields will now be recorded in the Stock Items audit log tab, providing comprehensive tracking of changes and accountability for key stock details.
API Update: 'IsOnHire' Field for Assets:
A new 'IsOnHire' field has been added to the GET Assets endpoint in the Web API. This field returns 'O' if an asset is currently subject to a hire contract, simplifying the verification of asset hire status for third-party integrations.
API Update: Invoice Line Dates:
The GET Invoices and InvoiceLines endpoints in the Web API now include 'FromDate' and 'ToDate' fields for each invoice line. This provides third-party systems with access to invoice data with specific duration details for each invoiced item, offering a more comprehensive understanding of the billed period.
New Unconfirmed Off-Hire Search Screen in 365:
Syrinx 365 has introduced a dedicated search screen for Unconfirmed Off-Hires. This screen offers comprehensive filtering and search capabilities, detailed columns (including a 'Notes' column displaying either the Offhire Note or Collection Note), and summary panels for Off Hire, Customer, Hire Items, Collections, and Mobile Jobs, facilitating efficient management of unconfirmed off hires.
Integration of Unconfirmed Off-Hires in Day at a Glance:
Unconfirmed off-hires are now displayed within the Day at a Glance feature in 365. This integration centralizes an additional critical item within the daily task overview, promoting efficient processing and minimizing oversights.
AEMP Telematics Integration Update:
An update has been implemented for system users utilizing the Task Scheduler for AEMP telematics integrations, enhancing support for external providers. The AEMP process now accurately manages the Authorization Token Name in the header information for outgoing requests, ensuring reliable recovery and display of recent Hours and Location data for linked assets, particularly for integrations such as the Hiboo telematics provider.
API Update: Purchase Invoice Posting:
A new endpoint has been introduced in the Web API, enabling the direct posting of purchase invoices into the system. This endpoint is designed explicitly for Stock Purchase Orders, supporting matching invoices to receipts (including partial receipts) and ensuring the inclusion of mandatory Nominal and Tax Codes. This functionality automates the creation of purchase invoices for third-party systems.
