Batch Invoicing Email Preview:
A new preview screen has been implemented for batch invoicing emails. This feature allows users to review and modify individual emails, including wording adjustments, personalized additions, and attachment of supplementary documents, prior to sending. This option can be selected in User Options by picking 'Syrinx 365 - Preview' on the Batch Invoice PDFs tab.
Off-Hire Search Enhancement:
The 'Off Hires' search screen has been significantly enhanced, enabling users to view all off-hires, including confirmed, unconfirmed, and cancelled statuses. This has been renamed from the previous Unconfirmed Off-Hire search. A pre-filter has been added for Unconfirmed so that it will display the unconfirmed ones to be worked on in the first instance, which can then be adjusted to display confirmed and/or cancelled, and a new 'Status' column provides a clear overview of each off-hire's current standing.
Global Search for Off-Hires:
Global Search capabilities have been expanded to include direct searching by off-hire number. This functionality lets users quickly locate relevant off-hires or contracts, regardless of their confirmation status.
Due in Days field within Payment Terms:
A new integer field for ‘Due in Days’ has been added to Syrinx payment terms. This has primarily been introduced to integrate Sage Intacct and the transfer tool. This could also be used for custom reports and documents, but doesn’t impact any inbuilt system reports.
Minimisation of 365 Dialog Windows:
Users can now minimise active 365 dialog windows, such as email and customer creation screens, to the bottom of the display. This functionality allows users to navigate other areas of the system without losing progress in the minimised dialog, which can be restored at the user's convenience.
Simplified Date Input:
Date fields have been refined to accept 6-digit date inputs (e.g., '01/01/25') rather than having to enter 01/01/2025. This works with both current date formats: dd/mm/yy and mm/dd/yy.
Breakdowns Widget Update:
The 'Breakdowns' widget has been optimized to display only 'Open Breakdowns.' This refinement ensures that the widget presents only active issues requiring attention, whereas it previously displayed all breakdowns since the start of the database. It has been renamed from ‘Breakdowns’ to ‘Open Breakdowns’ to reflect what it is displaying.
Trip down memory lane
In this section, we will loop back to something released a while back and highlight a feature that maybe has been forgotten about, we weren't aware of it, and a reminder that there could be functionality available that may just improve your workflow or your day.
- With each local search screen are a collection of summary panels, these are designed to provide more information about the row in the data grid you have clicked on, some areas have breakout buttons to go straight to another part of the system, for example the customer record.
