Credit Cards | Self-Service Credit Card Integration



In Rental Essentials, we now allow you to manage your credit cards directly without calling support. This article will show you how it can be accomplished.

To get there, you will go to Accounting > Credit Card Processing.

Integration Process


With credit card processing, you can integrate Cayan and Stripe with your Point of Rental.
 

1. To begin accepting credit cards, click on the Connect with Point of Rental button.

2. Fill out the fields in Organization Info and click Save.

                                                                                                                    

3. Click on Store Configuration tab 

                                                 

4. Click Add merchant (adds Stripe or Cayan as Merchant. ) 

                                              

5. Choose store

                                                  

        6. Review Summary and click Save.

                                        
        7. System will provide you a “Finish Stripe Registration’ Link.

 


 

For Stripe


        1. Click on the Finish Stripe Registration and sign in with your account. 

                                                            

        2. Log into Stripe Portal

 

        3. Select the appropriate Business Structure.

        4. Fill out all required fields and click Continue.

 

        5. Continue to fill out any additional fields.

 

        6. Select an account for payouts.

 

        7. Connect to your account with Stripe.

 

        8. Stripe will link to your account.

 

         9. You will receive a Success notification.

 

         10. You can setup how you want to initiate the payout, then click Continue.

 

        11. Fill in any additional details, like the Customer Support Phone Number and click Continue.

 

        12. Select the appropriate option for Sales Tax.

 

        13. Review and click Submit.

 

        14. Next, you'll return to Essentials. Go to Store Configuration tab.

 

        15. Then click on Settings, in the lower right corner.

 

        16. Verify Merchant selections and click Save.

 

        17. Assign a store.

 

        18. Select Yes.

 

        19. Click Save.

 

 


 

For Cayan


If you are integrating with Cayan (TSYS), you will need to make sure that you enter all the information that is required. This information is normally from Cayan. You can contact them at 800-941-6557.
