General Releases

Improved Email Reports Functionality - We improved the handling of the Email reports functionality so that emailed reports will go through for large datasets. Previously, very large reports could time out and not come through via email.

Updated Serialized Selection Model UI - We updated the UI of the serialized selection model. This makes the information for days on rent and reasons for unavailability more accessible equipping users to make informed decisions regarding which serial number to assign.

Contract Time Zone- When opening a contract in one time zone from the workbench in a store in another time zone, the time on the contract always shows in the time zone of the location in which the store with the order exists. If the location's time zone differs from the user's session time zone, the time zone will be identified. 

Workbench Enhancement - We enhanced the workbench to show event dates in addition to the contract start and end dates. If you use event dates, they will now show on the workbench in addition to the rental dates.

New Configuration Option - We added a New Config option: "Availability goes until contract end, even if item returns early". By default, it will be unchecked. When unchecked, an item returned before the expected contract return will kick off any availability delay or be immediately available if none exists. 

• Item returned early with no Availability_Delay. An Availability_Delay record will be created that keeps the item out of availability until the original due time of the transaction
• Item returned early with Availability_Delay. An Availability_Delay record will be created that starts now, but ends at the transaction duetime+Availability_Delay.
• Item returned late - no change

New report - Inventory Valuation - This report shows the value of your inventory including rental and sales items. It is based on the original purchase cost. It does not include depreciation. For serialized items, the specific item's purchase price is used. For non-serialized (bulk) items, First In First Out (FIFO) valuation is used. That is, the first item purchased is assumed to be the first item sold, thus no longer counting towards the inventory valuation total.

Defects

We fixed a defect which caused an incorrect pricing change during receive. This occurred on transactions with a duration longer than 1 day when selecting the item to be returned on the receive screen, then de-selecting it. The pricing is now correct even if the item is repeatedly selected and de-selected. (released in 21.1.1)

We fixed a defect in which storefront quotes were rarely converted to reservations without adequate payment.
