Embedding Overview
When you have the Essentials Customer Online Storefront add-on feature, Essentials creates a URL for your storefront. You will see this either on your Dashboard at the top or towards the top of the screen under the Front End Configuration menu.
Whoever hosts your company website will take this URL and embed the Essentials storefront into the right location on your company website using the WordPress plug-in option. They will follow the instructions provided when they click Instructions for WordPress under Configuration > Front End Configuration.
We also have general instructions for an external site you can follow. Once you click this button, the requirements will show up.
Once you have read the requirements, click the I understand, Show me the instructions button. General code will come up which you will enter into the correct section of your website.
Do you want the colors of the Customer Online Storefront to be the same as your website? You can change the colors under Configuration > Themes. For more information on Themes, please visit our knowledgebase on Document, Storefront & Kiosk Themes.
