Syrinx® - Credit Notes
Overview: This guide is designed to help you with the basics of creating a credit note.
From the ribbon at the top you have two ways to raise a credit, option one is to go into Sales and then click Credit Note.
Option two is go into Invoicing, then click Query and enter the invoice number.
If you are crediting an invoice you will be asked if you want to credit or partially credit invoice number xxx. Click Yes.
You then need to decide line by line what you would like to do.
Once you have made your selections you need to click OK. This will transfer you through to a credit note advice screen.
Once you have finished you can confirm your credit note onto the system. The system will ask you a reason why you are generating the credit.
The credit note will then be invoiced when you do your next batch of invoices. If you want to produce the credit immediately, then you can change the invoice from batch to now/account.
