Multiple Staff Search for Hire Contracts:
You can now search for Hire Contracts by selecting multiple staff members, for example you want to search all hire contracts raised by all hire desk staff rather than searching by each staff member. This applies to both the Search Contracts and Search Unconfirmed Contracts screens and uses the AND/OR filter.
Smarter Task Scheduling Post-Upgrade:
The App Installer now incorporates enhanced functionality to ensure the automatic resumption of the Task Scheduler following an upgrade, provided it was operational prior to the upgrade. Furthermore, the App Installer's operational resilience has been improved, allowing it to function independently of an immediate database connection, thereby maintaining optimal performance of cloud services.
Installer's Command Line Gets a Swanky New Home:
The Installer's Command Line Interface (CLI) has been elevated to a dedicated executable. This enhancement significantly increases the robustness of our installers, providing improved rollback capabilities in the event of an error, thereby offering a more secure update process. We have implemented a new wrapper for our database upgrades, significantly enhancing their safety and reliability. All SQL updates are now encapsulated within a transaction. This ensures that in the event of an unsuccessful upgrade, your database will automatically revert to its prior state.
Trip down memory lane
In this section, we will loop back to something released a while back and highlight a feature that maybe has been forgotten about, we weren't aware of it, and a reminder that there could be functionality available that may just improve your workflow or your day.
When emailing a hire contract or confirmation note, you send a Quiklink from Syrinx 365 which will allow the recipient to click on the link and open up a summary of the hire contract and if enabled access documents about the items on the contract, service certificates and safety instructions, more information is in the knowledge article here, Sending a Quiklink from Syrinx 365
