If you deliver and pick up items in various date ranges and want to give your customers options, you can set up time windows for delivery and pickup. This article will show you how to set your delivery windows and route your deliveries and pickups using a single report and Google Maps.
In Configuration > Company Configuration > Date/Time Options, you will see delivery and pickup windows.
From here, you can define the time windows by allowing delivery only/pickup only, or delivery and pickup. You can also choose to allow your customers to select them if you use the storefront, as week as the maximum number of deliveries allowed for that time frame. In the example below, only the first two options will display on the storefront, although all three windows will be selections on your counter.
At the transaction level, you will be able to select one of your windows when you are scheduling on the counter.
If you would like an additional fee associated with your delivery/pickup window, you can create a sales-only virtual item in Inventory > Inventory and choose the fee from the dropdown.
When you run your daily deliveries and pickups report, you will now be able to see a column for delivery windows.
