General: 

We fixed a bug in which creating an "Add Sales Record" Gave an error that variants bust be selected before attempting to add the item.

We fixed an issue in which the General Ledger entries for web payments were not correct until the contract closed.

We fixed a bug in which "Reactivate Item" did not properly work.

We added a new Put list report that identifies the bin to which an item is to go upon return.

We added the ability to auto sync the GeneralLedger with Quick Books online. Auto-sync will only apply to new records. Manually sync first to get up to date before enabling the auto sync. Accounting -> QuickBooks Online Integration -> Transaction Page

Storefront:  

We recommend reading these and understanding the impact prior to updating.  These features may require adjustments to security or configuration and may have implications for your operations or current workflows. 

All Users:  

We made a change to custom questions specifically for question type “Customer” that were failing when using guest checkout.  They will now appear.

Storefront 2.0:  These are updates that pertain to users that utilize Storefront 2.0.

Storefront 2.0 is now available for, and compatible with, multi-store users.  With this addition, Storefront 2.0 is now usable by ALL Essentials customers.

Before turning on Storefront 2.0 be sure to look over the “Things to Consider” document to understand what may be involved for you to make the change.  It is a significant improvement in look and performance, and does require some change to make it effective for you, depending on your existing setup within an iframe, or sub-domain.

You should also look over the Training documentation that provides really good visuals of the features available, and how to set them up.

Updates:

We made improvements to the Compare feature.  If there is no data in a line for any of the compared products the line does not show.  We also moved the continue shopping button to the upper right so it is more obvious where it is.  We also added the long description to the available data to compare.

We added the capability to add your store phone number to the header.  This is located in the Front End Configuration section.  On mobile it appears as an icon and dials the number when pressed.

We worked on ADA accessibility compliance.  We had good/acceptable scores prior to our work, and we achieved a near perfect score with our modifications, so you know that you have the most ADA accessible site available.  For reference, our scores are higher than giants like Walmart and Amazon.

With the change to accessibility, we need to make you aware that your changes in colors/themes can affect accessibility.  It’s important to use higher contrast colors in buttons and backgrounds.  To that end, there is now a popup that appears each time you open the themes tab making you aware that your changes can affect accessibility scores.

We fixed an issue where the reservation confirmation message was not showing in Storefront 2.0.  This will appear in the Overview section as well as on the Reservation Confirmation page.

Note on Storefront Changes: We are constantly working to improve the user experience, performance, and visual layout of the Point of Rental Storefront service. As part of our ongoing efforts to improve the user experience, we have identified necessary structural changes to the Storefront HTML that include a high chance of impacting Custom CSS layouts. If you have Custom CSS, please follow the steps below to make sure you are not impacted.
