General
Fixing a Customer Merge Mix-Up!:
We fixed a bug where trying to merge customer records by clicking a specific link on the page didn't quite work as planned. It looked like it was processing, but nothing actually happened (a bit like waiting for dial-up internet!). We've updated that spot to show you helpful info about the conflicting customer instead, and now the only way to kick off a customer merge is by hitting the good old Save button at the bottom of the page. This ensures your customer records merge smoothly and correctly every time.
Maintenance Mayhem Managed!:
We fixed a bug that caused maintenance tasks to pop up on your equipment when you specifically told the system not to create them during the receiving process. Now, when you uncheck that "perform maintenance" box, it won't schedule that work, giving you full control over when maintenance is added.
Xero Integration is Back in Action!:
We've resolved a bug that was causing the Xero Integration screen to appear blank for some users, preventing them from connecting or managing their Xero accounts within the system. We patched up a missing piece of code causing the bug, and now the Xero integration page should load correctly, allowing you to seamlessly connect and sync your accounting data.
Finding Your Customers Just Got Easier!:
Ever felt like your customers were playing hide-and-seek in the search bar when you were trying to start a new transaction? We fixed a bug that sometimes prevented customer names from appearing consistently in search results, even after hitting "Search all customers." Your customers should appear reliably when you search for them, saving you from needing to refresh your browser or session just to find who you're looking for.
Who's That Customer? We're Calling Them By Their Proper Name Now!:
We ironed out a little bug in the Workbench/Dashboard. Previously, if a customer record had a company name but no individual name, the system would sometimes incorrectly label them as a "Cash Customer," even if they were an Account Customer with a credit limit. Now, the Workbench will correctly identify customers based on their true account type, ensuring you see the right information at a glance, even for customers who prefer to go by their company name.
Storefront
Storefront 2.0 now supports multi-store configurations, making it available to all Essentials customers.

Note on Storefront Changes:
We are constantly working to improve the user experience, performance, and visual layout of the Point of Rental Storefront service. As part of our ongoing efforts to improve the user experience, we have identified necessary structural changes to the Storefront HTML that include a high chance of impacting Custom CSS layouts. If you have Custom CSS, please follow the steps below to make sure you are not impacted.
