General Releases

New Tags!: We added tags to the Picklist and Putlist reports.

Line Item Status: We added line item status to the Picklist and Putlist reports.

Storefront Releases

We recommend reading these and understanding the impact before updating. These features may require adjustments to security or configuration and may have implications for your operations or current workflows.

All Storefront Releases

Custom Questions: We changed to custom questions specifically for question type “Customer,” which was failing when using guest checkout. They will now appear.

Storefront 2.0 Releases

Forgot Password Functionality: We added the Forgot Password functionality to the Sign In accordion/tab in the checkout process. We apologize for the inconvenience!! This will now allow existing users who forgot their password to easily retrieve their password and continue in the checkout process.

Rental Rate Display: We made an adjustment to the rental rate display on the Product Detail Page, so the rates line up better if you have longer rate period names. BEST PRACTICE: You do not need to use the word “Rate” in each of your price sheets. It looks best if it just says Daily, Weekly, and Monthly VS Daily Rate, Weekly Rate, and Monthly Rate.

Availability Display: We made a minor adjustment to remove the availability display when an optional suggested item in the list view has not been chosen yet.

Special Request Text: The default Special Request text now appears at the appropriate location at checkout.

Coupon Code Fix: We fixed an issue where the coupon code was causing the checkout total to continue to refresh, causing a flashing on the screen.

Note on Storefront Changes:

We are constantly working to improve the user experience, performance, and visual layout of the Point of Rental Storefront service. As part of our ongoing efforts to improve the user experience, we have identified necessary structural changes to the Storefront HTML that have a high chance of impacting Custom CSS layouts. If you have Custom CSS, please follow the steps below to ensure you are not impacted.

  • Review your Custom CSS

  • Please check your storefront to confirm there are no conflicts with your custom CSS

  • Make any changes needed to ensure that your designs still function as intended

  • If you need to remove any custom CSS, please find instructions here.
