The new email feature in Syrinx 365 lets you send emails directly from the system with optional attachments. This guide shows you how to configure email settings at both the system and user levels and use the email window to compose and send messages.
By default, emails are sent using the system-level configuration. If you've set up user-specific email settings, those will override the system settings for that user.

Configuring the System Email Address
To set a system-wide email configuration:

Go to Configuration > System Options > General.

Select the Email tab.

Fill in the relevant SMTP settings or use OAuth.
Set a User-Level Email Override (Optional)

In the Left menu, go to User > User Options

Select the Email tab.

Enter the SMTP details relevant to that user or use OAuth.

Composing a New Email

Use the right-hand menu on the right side of the screen.

Click the envelope icon to launch the email composition window.
Adding Attachments and Sending Your Email

Enter the recipient's email address, subject, and message body.

Click Add Attachments to browse and select files.

A file picker window will appear. Choose the desired file.

The selected file will be shown below the Add Attachments button. You can select to preview this or remove this attachment using the down arrow.

Click Send to complete the process.
