- Open the Syrinx Installer.
- Under the “Available” tab on the “Syrinx Installer,” click the blue checkmark for the “Syrinx Accounts Transfer” tool, then click “Install.”
Important Note: Unless told otherwise, be sure to “Check for Updates” FIRST to ensure you are installing the latest version.
-
After clicking “Install,” progress bars will appear inside the box for the “Syrinx Accounts Transfer” tool.
-
- After the downloading progress bar is complete, a “Syrinx Accounts Transfer Configuration” popup will appear. Choose the specific type of transfer you wish to complete and click “Install.” We are completing a Sage 50 v30 (version 30) transfer in this tutorial.

When the “Syrinx Accounts Transfer” tool is done processing, it will disappear from the “Available” tab and appear under the “Installed” tab. An icon will be added to the desktop. In our Sage30 example, the icon is titled “Transfer to Sage Line50”.
- When opening the “Transfer to Syrinx Line50,” you will be prompted with the “Connect Database” screen. Click the “Connect with Global User” option, fill out the Username and Password fields, and click “OK.”
Important Note: This must be a global user that already exists from the rental organization. - A popup called “Select Organisation” will appear. Choose the Org you wish to configure and click “OK.” In this example, we chose the demo organization with OrgId 4939.
- It will prompt you to choose a save location for “Log Files.” Navigate to where you want to store them and click “OK.”
- Then, it will prompt you to choose a location for the Account to save data. Navigate to the “AccData” folder and click “OK”. For example, a local install will often follow this file path: C:\ProgramData\Sage\Accounts\Company.???\AccData
- The “Configuration Settings” window will now be filled out. Verify the information and click “OK”.
- After clicking “OK,” this screen will display. Important Note: There might be a slight delay while it fills out the “Run Transfer” table.
- Click “Post Sales Invoices (1 non-batch invoice)” and select “Run.”
Important Note: The Post-Sales Invoices (1 non-batch invoice) indicate that something needs to sync from Syrinx into Sage 50 locally. - You will now need to log on with your Sage50 Account credentials. Then click “OK.”
- A confirmation screen will appear. Click “Yes” to continue.
