BI CVW ItemOnRent – Overview
Purpose:
This view provides a snapshot of items currently rented out, showing both the total value and quantity on rent by store and item category. It helps track active inventory that is generating rental revenue.
What’s Included:

Store: The location where the rental is active.

Item Category: The category of the rented item.

Value on Rent - OEC: Total value of items currently rented, calculated as quantity rented × purchase price.

Quantity on Rent: Total number of units currently rented.

OEC total: for all Items
-
Quantity Owned: Used to calculate Utilization.
How It Works:

Includes only active rental transactions (Transactions.STAT starting with “O”) and items of type “R” or “RH” (rental types).

Aggregates data by store and item category for a clear overview of rental activity.
