BI CVW Totals Summary Rent – Overview

Purpose:

This view provides a daily financial and operational summary for rental activities by store. It combines revenue, cash flow, contract counts, and repair costs, giving management a clear snapshot of performance over time. It is based on Posted data.

What’s Included:

• Date Info:
  

  • Date of record, Year, Quarter, Month, and Month Name.
    
    

• Store Info:
  

  • Store identifier for which the summary applies.
    
    

• Financial Metrics:
  

  • Cash AR: Cash accounts receivable (cash amounts minus cash payments and credits).

  • Account AR: Account receivable balances (account amounts minus payments and credits).

  • Reservation Value: Value of reservations for the period.

  • Rental Revenue: Total revenue from rentals.

  • Damage Waiver Revenue: Revenue from damage waiver charges.

  • Sale Revenue: Revenue from items sold.

  • Cash Flow: Sum of all cash inflows including bank, credit card, debit card, and PNA.
    
    

• Operational Metrics:
  

  • New Contracts: Count of new contracts created on that day (excluding certain statuses).

  • Repair Costs: Total repair costs for items on rent that are active.
