Acquiring the API Key

API Keys can only be generated for Elite Advanced users. You must have the Point of Rental Elite Advanced software to receive an API Key.

To request an API key, please email the Product Support team at 'support@pointofrental.com'.

Integration Summary

The integration between Point of Rental (POR) and RepMove facilitates seamless data synchronization and updates across both platforms, enhancing operational efficiency and data consistency.

Data Sync Workflows

1. POR → RepMove (Scheduled Sync):
   • Synced Data: Accounts, Contacts, Notes.
   • Frequency: Every 24 hours 
        
2. RepMove →  POR (Realtime/On-Demand Sync):
   • Actions:
     
     • Create/update Customers and Contacts in POR.
     • Create Notes in POR (updates to existing notes are not
       synced).
   • Sync Type: Instantaneous, triggered by user actions in RepMove.
