BI CVW Income – Overview

Purpose:

This view provides a summary of income for each customer, broken down by revenue type and grouped by month. It helps track how much revenue comes from rentals, sales, assets, and damage waivers, giving a clear view of overall customer contributions. This data is based on Posted Data not Transactions.

What’s Included:

• Customer Info: Customer number, name, address, city, and zip.

• Time Period: Month and year of the posted income (first day of the month).

• Revenue Breakdown:

  • Rent: Income from rentals.

  • Sale: Income from sales.

  • Asset: Income from assets or equipment.

  • Damage Waiver: Income collected for damage waivers.

• Total Income: Sum of all revenue streams, including taxes and other adjustments.

• Store: The store location associated with the income.

Uses:

• Analyze monthly income by customer.

• Compare income contributions from rentals vs. sales vs. assets.

• Track revenue trends by store or geographic location.
