BI CVW Items – Overview

                                                                                   

Purpose:

This view provides a comprehensive profile of every item in inventory, including financials, usage metrics, classification, and status. It is useful for operations, finance, and management to understand item performance, value, and history.

                                                                            

What’s Included:

  • Item Identification:

    • Item number, key, name, serial number, part number, license number, and long description.

    • Item type, category, department, division, and header number.

    • Flags for bulk items or part items.

    • Capitalized

  • Inventory & Location:

    • Quantity on hand, home store, current store, and reorder levels (min/max).

    • Inactive status, setup time, weight, warranty date, and expiration date.

  • Financials:

    • Income metrics: MTD, YTD, LTD income.

    • Original Equipment Cost (OEC), accumulated depreciation, depreciation expense.

    • Book value, replacement cost, salvage value, last purchase price/date, last sold date.

    • Sell price, retail price, deposit, damage waiver %, non-taxable flag.

    • Item for sale

  • Usage & Rental Metrics:

    • Total meter out/in, periods and rates (1–10) for rental billing.

    • Group and location codes for operational tracking.

    • Hours out MTD

    • Hours out YTD

    • Hours out LTD

  • Vendors & Orders:

    • Vendor numbers, order numbers, and quantity on order.

  • Additional Info:

  • Includes income, depreciation, and book value for financial reporting.
