Troubleshooting
- Although utilized with Expert/Elite, it is important to understand that CounterSign is an Essentials product that the customer must purchase, set up an account through rentalesign.com, and configure within their software. A customer may be licensed for Countersign in Expert/Elite but not active on Rentalesign.com (Essentials) side. To troubleshoot, check the license in Expert and Elite but also have the customer sign in to Rentalesign.com.
- Receiving the following error message: Email Address: for OpNo___ when selecting get signature from the print screen indicates there is no email address for this employee under Security>Employee Id.
- When sending out a countersign document, receiving the following message could indicate a billing issue. Verify credit card information on file is updated and correct. Usually means, credit card has been declined.
- When sending out a countersign document, receiving the following message could indicate the customer’s CounterSign’s module has been unlicensed. Verify that the customer has been licensed to send CounterSign signature requests with an eSign/CounterSign Support Specialist.
