  Release Notes

4/26/2023 v2023.06

We are listening!  Items with this label are a result of your suggestions in uInnovate.  Please continue to share and support those ideas that help your business.

We recommend reading these and understanding the impact prior to updating.  These features may require adjustments to security or configuration and may have implications for your operations or current workflows.

Foreign Language and Accounts Receivable Dashboard:  Foreign language users were experiencing unexpected results when filtering between stores in the accounts receivable dashboard.  The grid now functions as expected. Se do bheatha. (Time to put that google translator to good use)

API Accounting Packages:  Users of integrated accounting packages will be required to enter a valid GL account on purchase order line items before they can be closed.  This is to prevent them from posting without a properly assigned account. These can be entered in the purchase order dashboard from Options>GL Accounts.

Exporting Files on Cloud Servers:  Due to the technical differences in cloud vs on premise servers, the export process has been enhanced for those on cloud servers.  Users will have the option to either open on the server or save locally.  Choosing to save locally will further prompt the user with a download box at the top right of the screen.  This new functionality has been completed in core and report screens.  Browser screens will be completed in the next sprint cycle.

Core Design Update:  The work started last sprint with updating the core colors/UI has been continued.  Dispatch, accounts receivable dashboard, and logistics tickets have now also gotten new lipstick. Maybe she’s born with it, maybe its a modern motif.

Browser Call Logs for Customers/Jobsites:  Users now have the ability to assign a jobsite as well as a customer to a call log created from either of those browser records.  This is useful for tracking calls that pertain to specific customers using specific job sites/venues.  Additionally, when users complete a touchpoint for a job site, they will now be prompted to create a call log, just as they were able to for customer touchpoints.

Browser Security Navigation:  A back button has been added at the top of the browser security form for ease of navigation when moving in and out of specific security areas. This is for all of you that still print your directions off of Mapquest.

Unpull Sales Items:  Elite users now have the option to right click on a sales item and unpull the inventory once it has been pulled. This will return the inventory to the item record. This is available both from the right click and the multi-select. Camera 1, Camera 2, Camera 1, Camera 2.  First person to email me with the movie reference gets a crisp high five.

Browser Special Rates:  A warning has been added to the special rates form in the browser to remind the user that at least one of the fields has to be populated.  This prevents users from erroneously saving special rates that in effect, do nothing.

POR One Attachments:  For picture attachments that come into Elite from POR One, we are now displaying the date the image was taken and the operator who took it.

Browser Contract Search:  When doing a contract search, the archived contracts will now be at the end of the search results so that the more relevant contracts are more easily found.

Suspense Days Grid View:  For those utilizing stand downs or suspense days, the entries for any particular contract can now be seen from the core contract processing screen in a grid view by going to Reports>Suspense Days.  Having this information here prevents the user from having to go back to the browser interface to retrieve it.

Invoice Verify:  In the past the invoice verify screen has included entries for removed lines and received headers that were serialized when received on the PO.  They always had a quantity of zero and were more of an eye sore than anything.  Nevertheless, we have now cleaned up this screen and they will no longer appear.

Revenue Widget Update:  The following widgets have been updated to include the jobsite sales rep numbers.  Before, they were just pulling customer and transaction sales rep information.

  • Revenue Insights
  • Rental Revenue Insights
  • Rental Revenue (Last 7 Days)

Availability Ledger:  The team has worked hard to build out a new availability library.  This new method of doing things will help make us quicker and more agile when calculating availability.  We will be able to handle scenarios we weren’t able to in the past. We have already introduced it with the new availability column in 2023.03.  Keep your eyes peeled for new updates.

Account Payments Contract Column:  The contract column in Account Payments has been lengthened.  In the past, any contract number over 7 characters would be cut off, which could be problematic if trying to pay specific invoices. In the spirit of short king spring, good things come in all shapes and sizes (and contract numbers).

POR One

These are updates for Elite users utilizing the POR One app.

Add multiple Images: When you are adding images from the gallery on your mobile device, you can now select up to 10 images to load at the same time. This will also function when you are offline and the images will be queued when network connectivity is restored.

Store Filter: On the search pages you can now filter by Store to limit the results you are seeing for the Store location that is most relevant to you. This is available on searches for Contracts, Inventory, Work Orders and Routes.

Upcoming Route Notification: Drivers will be alerted 30 minutes before a Route is expected to start for any Routes that are assigned to them. This also functions offline so when a driver does not have network connectivity but has downloaded their Routes they will still be notified.

Routes Address Toggle: Delivery and Pick Up address will be toggled on Stop Details based on the Route Status. If a Route is set for Delivery, the Driver will see the Delivery Address and if a Route is set for Pick up the Driver will see the Pick Up address. Both addresses are still available if the driver should need to toggle for reference.

Displaying “My Routes” to Drivers: The “My Routes” toggle on the Routes page now shows drivers Routes that have been assigned to them based on Status.

  • Status = In Transit - Drivers will see any that are in status of “In Transit” regardless of dates/time.
  • Status = Confirmed or Transmitted - Drivers will see any from yesterday (if missed and need editing) and into the future.
  • Status = Complete - Drivers will only see any Routes they have completed for today's date.

Sorting by Date: By default, all search results based on Date will be in ascending order, not descending. This affects all search pages with a data sort. Earliest Date is shown first.

Memory Lane Monday

This is a fun corner where we republish release notes from previous sprints you may have forgotten about.

Rejected Purchase Tab: The rejected tab in purchase orders will display the name of the operator who was assigned to resolving the rejected invoice.

Logistics Tickets and Overbooking: We are no longer including the listing of the logistics tickets in the list of contracts for the overbook screen. Since they don’t affect availability, they’re just unnecessary information in this situation. Devotees of Marie Kondo, rejoice.
