Fixed Fee Charge

Enter the fixed amount as a negative value in the Item Percent Field through the item record. Instead of calculating the Item Percentage as a percentage of the item price, it will charge the fixed fee per unit.

From Parameters

You can change the name of the percentage field to reflect the fee you will be assessed to the contract. Go to Program Menu>Configurations>System Configurations>Parameters>Item Rates. Under the Item Percentage field, enter the new name of the field.

The item Record will reflect the new name of the percentage field. Enter a negative value in this percentage field. (ex - .05 = $5.00).

Now rather than calculating the Item Percent charge as a percentage of the item price, it will charge the fixed fee per unit.
