Opening Power BI Views From Power BI Extraction Tool

Once the extraction tool has been installed and the ODBC connection established on a local computer, those views can be opened and manipulated in Power BI.

To load the views, navigate to ‘Get Data’ and select ‘More…’ at the bottom.

In the window that appears, type ODBC into the search box.

When it comes up, select it and hit ‘Connect’.

In the drop down, select the data source for your company.

This will trigger a new credentials box.  Enter your Elite SSO credentials.

This will open a new Navigator view where the Power BI views can be seen and selected. Once that is done, load or transform the data, which will populate your Power BI's right-hand view and can be used to create charts, tables, etc.
