Operator Information

 

 

Operator Information allows operators (users) to set their own email, cell phone, and desired contact method. Employees can also change their own passwords and request a new one if they have forgotten one.

     

 

 (Elite only) If you're not using the default email in your Employee email setup, reset your email password by going to User Tools > Operator Information > Tools > Update Email Password Operator Information. 


 (Available for Elite users on versions 2025.13) If you use an OAuth email account, you will be guided through retokenizing the password. This document walks you through that process: Email Setup with Gmail or Microsoft 365.

How to get there 

Expert: Program Menu > Counter System > Tools > Operator Information.
Elite: Left Menu > User Options > Operator Information

 

 

Tools tab

  

 

Modify Contact InfoFrom Tools, select Modify Contact Info, which will allow you to update operator contact information.
Change Operator PasswordThis option allows you to change your login password. * Note: This will update the password under the Operator ID.
Forgot PasswordWill send you a temporary password by email or interoffice email.
Update Email Password

This feature is available in Elite versions 2025.13 and above. Allows you to update your email password instantly without needing to send a request to your POR admin. 

Please note that Oauth2 users will be guided through the process of logging in to their email accounts in a web browser and verifying them. 

 

 

 

Using the 'Update Email Password' Option

 

  1. Go to the Left Menu > User Options > Operator Information.
      

  2. Open the Tools tab > press Update Email Password 
     

  3. Update your password and press Ok. If you are set up for OAuth2 authentication, a pop-up window will appear, prompting you to open a browser. Click OK. Follow the remaining steps.

  4. Sign in to your account. Follow the prompts to give access to it.

  1. When you log in, you will be taken to a website with the following.

  1. Close out of your browser and go back to Point of Rental.
      

  2. You will see a message for Click OK once you have completed the authorization process.

Print Setup Tab 

In this tab, you can select their printers, cc terminal, store, etc.
