Creating a Sales Rep
This document will go through how to set up a Sales Rep within the Point of Rental software.

Once you select the Sales Rep option, you may need to enter the owner or regional manager’s level password.
Creating/Modifying a Sales Rep
- Click on any of the sales reps to edit their information or click on ‘Add’ to add a new sales rep. You can also get to the Sales Rep record from a customer record or contract.
- Enter the Sale Rep's information within the sections Information, Notifications, and Commision section.
In this section, you can enter your Sale Reps basic information.
- Operator - This is usually the same name as the Sales Rep listed above. Some companies do not have sales reps who use the software but are still sent a notification about their customer's contract status.
- Cell Phone - When adding the phone number please add without dashes. When adding dashes it causes them to display oddly when printed on a contract and some reports.
Notifications
You can send your salesmen a notification each time a defined event occurs. Select a notification type: By Email, By Text, or By Interoffice Email. Now, select which events will notify your Sales Reps.
Commission
Enter the commission percentage of each type of income. You can also modify the commission amount based on the time the customer took to pay the contract.
Exceptions
This allows you to set the commission percentage level to an item category or item record. When an item commission level is set, the sales rep will receive the appropriate commission when either an item from the category or an individual item is entered into a contract. - You can add different commission levels by going to App Configurations > Item Configurations > Item Commission Level.
- After you create commission levels and assign exceptions to them, you can assign item categories or an item to a commission level.
Exporting a Sales Rep list
If you need to export a sales rep list you can do so by right-clicking on the header bar and selecting Export to Spreadsheet.
