Purpose:
This view provides a summary of item inventory and rental costs, showing both the total investment in items and the cost of items currently on rent. It separates serialized rentals from bulk rentals to help understand inventory value and utilization.

Either SERIALIZED RENTAL (tracked individually) or BULK RENTAL (tracked in bulk quantities).

Combines purchase data (price paid for items) with active rental transactions.

Excludes certain item types that are non-rentals.

Aggregates by category, type, and store for summary-level reporting.
