Blind Scan

 

 

 

 

Overview 

 

This article discusses Blind Scan, which allows you to scan in inventory items from either a contract or customers. In order to use Blind Scan, the items being received must have previously been scanned out.

Using Blind Scan to receive items

 

1. Go to Program Menu > Item Availability > Contract Fulfillment

 

2. Select the “In” button in the upper left corner of the contract fulfillment module. Once selected, the Blind Scan button will appear.

3. Select the Blind Scan button in the upper right corner of the module. It will display a Customer List, where you can enter the inventory item in the Scan Field, displaying a list of customers who have contracts with this item.

4. When you select a customer, the Scan Mode screen will be displayed showing you the contracts and inventory associated with that customer. You can now begin to scan in your items with either a barcode scanner or RFID.

5. Once scanned, a “Pass,” ”Fail,” or “Duplicate” status will appear to the right of the box with the number of tags that correspond to each status. The “Fail” label can be selected to see why those items failed. Note: Each line item needs to be received individually.
