Contract Processing Shortcuts




Overview

This article will discuss the various shortcuts available to you within Contract Processing. These shortcuts will allow you to make adjustments to a contract quickly and efficiently from within the contract window. Shortcuts include changing item quantity, contract date, time, and price rates to name a few.

 

Quantity - Number of items. Double click to modify this field.
 

Status - Status may be changed to Open or Closed. Double click to modify this field.
 

Date Due - You can change the due date. Double click to modify this field.
 

Time Due - You can change the time of when items are due. Double click to modify this field.
 

Hours - You can change the number of hours for the rental period. Double click to modify this field.
 

Price - You can modify and recalculate price rates. Double click to modify this field.
 

Line Item Comments - Add or edit line item comments. Double click to modify this field.
 

Item Name - Double click to open the Record Detail for the item.
 

Misc Item Name - Right-click and choose Change Description to change the name if needed.
 

Contract Link - Turn on the CNTRLINK field within Contract Columns. When a contract number is displayed, double click the contract number to open a new Counter System and inquire that contract.

Sub rent - Turn on the Sub rent field. Double click to add or modify the required sub rent quantity.

 

Customer Name - Right-click to change the customer on a contract. Double click to open the Record Detail for the listed customer.
 

Delivery/Pickup Address - Double click ‘Used At/DeliveryAddress’ title to open the delivery address dialog box.
 

CTRL - Click multiple lines, then right-click one of the selected lines for multi-line updating options.
 

Change Status - At the top of the screen, on a new contract (before a contract number has been assigned), this option allows you to switch between quote, reservation, and open statuses.
