Credit Card Inquire

Credit Card Inquire shows the daily credit card totals between Point of Rental and the credit card processor.

The amount in your balance field should be the same as the POR totals. If there is a difference, then your credit cards will be out of balance.

Processor Count - The number of credit cards that have been run for the given day.

Processor Balance - The total amount of credit cards your processor has processed.

POR Debit Cards - The total amount of debit cards that POR has registered.

POR Credit Cards - The total amount of credit cards that POR has registered.

Note: The total amounts from your debit and credit cards will display in the POR totals. The amounts in the POR totals should equal the balance amount.

Store Location - You can select your store or another location.

If the amounts do not match, then you will be out of balance and see the difference in a separate field on the left side of the POR Totals. There are many reasons why your credit cards might not match. One reason is if communications are interrupted or are not received by either the processor or Point of Rental then the transaction cannot be finalized.

Note: When your credit cards do not match, the End of Day process cannot be started until the 'out of balance' is resolved.
