Program Menu Functions Overview
Quit: This selection terminates the POINT-OF RENTAL program.
1. Counter System
This selection runs the counter system program that is used for all rental contract processing.
2. End of Day Processing
Close Drawer for End of Day – This program performs the end of day processing for store.
Auto Close Drawer – This program performs the end of day processing for your store with out asking any drawer counts. The amount entered in Parameters for default carry over cash will be used during close.
Print Transaction Edit – The reports lists all the transactions that have occurred on the day that you selected.
Print Operator Edit Report - This report lists all of the monetary transactions fore each operator for the day that you select.
Print Check and Card Report - This report lists all of the checks and credit cards for a time period that you select.
Print Contracts Posted – This report lists all the transactions that were posted to totals on the day that you select.
Unpaid Contracts Report – This report shows all of the unpaid contracts. This report will print automatically during the End of Day.
Overdue Items Report – This report shows all of the items that are overdue. This report will print automatically during the End of Day.
Open Items Report - This report shows all of the items that are currently on contracts This report can be printed automatically during the End of Day.
Reservation No-Show Report - This report shows all of the reservation contracts that weren’t sent out. This report will print automatically during End of Day.
Credit Card Inquire – This option displays the total amount of credit cars run through the credit card interface since the last settlement.
3. Accounting System
Account Payments – This program allows you to enter account payments that have been received.
Print Statements – This program prints statements for your customers. This program is run on demand.
Print Invoices – This feature allows you to print all of the closed contracts for a selected date range.
Print Aged Customer Balance – This program prints a summary aging report, with under 30, 60, 90 and over 90 day totals.
Accounting Reports – This option gives another menu with the following accounting reports:
Sales Tax Report – This report lists taxable and non taxable rentals, sales and damage waiver amounts for each of your tax jurisdictions. You choose whether you want a monthly, quarterly or yearly report.
Contracts Posted Detail Report – This report list each contract that was posted to income and the rental, sale, damage waiver, other and tax breakout.
Taxable Contracts Report - This report lists each contract that had sales tax charged.
Non Taxable Contract Report – This report lists all transactions that have non-taxable amounts for the period you select.
Tiered Sales Tax Details – This reports lists all transaction that have amounts over the maximum tax amounts listed for tier 1 tax amount.
Percentage Report – This report lists details or summary the total amounts collected for Item Percentage.
Contracts by Customer Type – This report lists all transactions written to customers with a customer type defined for the period you select.
Daily Totals Report – This report lists all of your totals in a daily spreadsheet style format.
Reprint Category Totals - This option allows you to reprint the store’s total sheet for the day select.
Reprint Store Totals – This report will reprint the store total sheet for the day selected.
Reprint General Ledger Entries – This report will reprint the General Ledger Entries for the day selected.
Monthly Deposits Report – This report will list the bank deposits and credit card deposits each day for the selected month.
Reprint Bank Deposit Slip – This option allows the reprinting of a bank deposit slip for the selected day.
Credit Card Report – This report will break ou the Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover amounts on a daily basis for the time period that you select.
Disbursements Report – This report will list the individual disbursement for the time period selected.
Active Deposits Details – This report gives a detailed listing of all customer deposits held on transaction.
Suspense Fund Details – This report gives a detailed listing of all transactions that are held in the Suspense Fund total.
In-Store Credit Details – This report gives a detailed listing of all credits held for all customers.
Account Payments Summary – This report gives a listing of all payments entered for a giving time period through Account Payments.
Average Days to Pay Report – This report gives a graph showing the average days it took to collect money on contracts written broken out on a monthly and yearly basis.
Yesterday’s Closed Account Contracts – This report lists all account contracts that were closed on the previous day.
Accounting Inventory Reports – This option gives another menu with the following options:
Item Income Report – This program produces a report of income generated by your inventory for the current month, current year and lifetime.
Item Income Trend Report - This report will show the income in detail or summary by category for four different time periods that you select.
Income from Non-Home Store – This report will show the income in detail or summary for all income generated at a store other than the item’s home store.
Item Markup Report This report gives the amount and the percentage markup of each sales items.
Item Purchase History – This report gives the purchase history for rental or sale items for a selected time period.
Sales Inventory Value Report – This program produces a report of the current value of your inventory for sale item.
Parts Inventory Value Report – This program produces a report of the current value of your parts items
Rental Inventory Value Report – This program produces a report of the current value of your rental items.
Yearly Capital Expenditure – This report shows the purchase of either rental or sales inventory broken out on a yearly basis.
Cost of Good Sold Report – This report shows the cost and the income for your entire sales inventory.
Fixed Assets Reports – This option gives another menu with the following options.
Rental Inventory Value Report – This program produces a report of the current value of your rental equipment.
Yearly Inventory Value – This report shows the purchased of either rental or sales inventory broken out on a yearly basis.
Sold Asset Report - This option generates a report of the entire rental items old during the time period you select.
Sale Transfer to Rental – This report shows the listing of sale items that were transferred to the rental equipment inventory for the time period you selected.
Item Purchase History – This report gives the purchase history for rental or sale items for a selected time period.
Depreciation Report – This option generates a report of all the asset items listing the purchase price, current depreciation, and accumulated depreciation.
Capitalized Equipment Listing – This option generates a report of all the capitalized equipment.
Depreciation Schedules – You can set up to 5 depreciation schedules for each item record.
Sales Rep Report – This option gives another menu with the following equipment.
Sales Rep Detail Report - This report gives you a detail listing of all contracts for each sales rep for the time period entered. This report can be run for either a Cash or Accrual accounting basis.
Sales Rep Summary Report – This report gives you a summary listing of total contract values by month for each sales rep. This report can be run for either Cash or Accrual accounting basis.
Sales Rep Profit Report – This report details out each sale by the sales rep and the profit associated with the sell.
Reservation Value by Sales Rep – This report details each reservation for each Sales Rep and the totals the income.
Sales Rep Customer Report – The report gives you a listing of all the customer’s name and address assigned to a particular sales rep.
Sales Rep Customer Aging Report – This report gives you a listing of each customer’s 30-60-90 day aging for each sales rep.
Open Items by Sale Rep Report - This report gives you a listing of each rental item that I is out on rent for each sales rep.
Detail Job Report by Sales Rep – This report gives you all reservations pending with delivery dates, items details, expected return date and all accounts receivable not yet paid by sales rep.
Off Rent Report by Sales Rep – This report gives you all items that have been called off rent grouped by Sales Rep. This report will display the item, date called off rent and number of days it has been waiting for pick up.
Dunning Letters – This program prints letters to customers who have over due rental items, past due balances or other user specified criteria.
Bad Check Letter – This program is used to print a bad check letter for a customer with a returned check. The customer record is marked and a notation is entered under comments.
Check/Card Lookup – This program is used to find transactions that were paid with a particular check number, credit card number or dollar amount.
Customer Credit Limit Report - This report lists the credit limit of Account Customers and the remaining credit on their account.
4. Purchase Orders (Optional, may not be operational on your system)
This program allows you to write and receive purchase orders for resale inventory, rental equipment, and miscellaneous items.
5. File Search
This option allows a search of the various data files (e.g. Customers) for specific combinations of letters or numbers. For example, you may search the Customer file for “ROBERT”
6. File Maintenance
This program lets at and/or make changes to various data files in your system, such as Customer, Items, and Totals.
7. Inventory Price Adjustments
This program allows you to make mass changes to rental and /or sales process for one category or all categories by a specified percentage.
8. Database Mass Change
This program makes mass changes of up to 10 data fields in all or selected groups of item or customer records.
9. Configuration
Store Configuration:
Parameters – This program allows you to customize POINT OF RENTAL programs to better fit your method of operation. * You may specify rental ‘overtime’ formulate, grace periods, tax rates, and many others. You can also setup a rental and sale discount tables that interact with the customer record.
Printers Selection – This program allows you to select which printers will be used to print contracts, receipts, reports, labels, and End of Day Processing summaries for each terminal.
Calendar Maintenance – This program allows out to define the open and close dates and times for your store as well as defining the end of your accounting periods.
Laser Contract Format – This function allows you to define the different laser contract formats that are available when printing a contract.
Work Order Formats – this function allows you to define the different laser contracts formats that are available when printing Work Orders.
Printout Fields – Under this selection you can edit all of the user defined fields that can printout in the contract when printed.
Edit System Letters – Under this selection you can edit and/or create files used by the system, such as New Customer Letter, Instruction Header, and Bad Check Letter.
Email Letters – Under this selection, you can create generic letters that can be attached to emails sent through the POR System based on Contract Status: Quote, Reservation, Open, ON Hold, Closed or General.
Store Groups – Grouping of stores and/or separate inventory locations defined on this screen.
Store Division - Store divisions such as Party, Equipment, Service are defined on this screen.
Delivery Time Window – The delivery time windows such as 9am-11am are define on this screen
Delivery Truck – The delivery trucks are entered here.
Edit Zip Codes – The ZIP Code ranges for cities in your area are entered here.
Call Log Types – Types used to group certain call logs together are defined here.
Sales Reps – Each of the sales reps names are entered here. You can also set whether a sales rep is active or inactive
Mass Fax/Email Setting – This option allows you to set default settings such as fax cover page, contract format, default printer, subject line and message.
Accounting Configurations:
Account Numbers – The General Ledger account numbers are entered here. This is necessary if using the G/L interface to various PC General Ledger program.
Disbursement Items – This option allows you to add or change the disbursement items for your system.
Discount Tables – The customer discount percentages are entered here.
Default Vendor Mark Up – This option allows you define the percentage markup on each vendor based on the value of the item you are purchasing.
Multi-Currency – This option is used to define the name and the default conversion rate for different currencies used in your business.
PO Payment Methods – This different payment methods available in Purchase Orders entered here.
Tax Table – The tax percentages for rental, sale and damage waiver are entered here for each taxing jurisdiction for your store.
Item Configurations:
Item Categories - The item category descriptions are enter here.
Item Departments – This field allows you to group items by particular departments
Item Messages – The general messages that are printed out on the contract for each item are entered here.
Missed Rentals Reasons – The reasons why an item wasn’t available for rental are defined in this section.
Customer Configurations:
Customer Types – The customer types are entered here.
Customer Groups – The customer groups are entered here.
Customer Price Type – The customer pricing types are entered here
Customer Heard about us – The different options for how a customer heard abut your store are entered here.
Customer Message – The customer message are entered here.
Transaction Configurations:
Transaction Types - The Transaction Types you want to use to break out your contracts by are entered here.
Transaction Operations – Transaction Operations allow you to setup sub-status for contracts which allow the contract status to be updated as each process I completed.
Transaction Items Substatuses – The different substatuses that are available for each transaction line item is defined here.
Contract Questions - Up to 16 questions can be defined for the counter operations to type answers. Questions can vary depending upon the type of contract or even the customer
Other Updates:
Update Website – This option allows you to manually update your intergraded website hosting by Point of Rental Systems. If you do not host your website with Point of Rental, this option will give a trail view.
Parts Database Import – This option allows you to import your Parts Database from the CD your vendor sends you.
Database Record Count - This screen displays the number of records in each table of the database.
Check for Updates - This function checks whether any program or report has been updated. If so, it shown loads the latest version to your compute. An Internet connection is required.
Licensing – This function allows you to see how Enterprise Software is licensed including drop-dead dates, number of users, and number of stores licensed. This is where you would add licensed to the POINT OF RENTAL.
10. Security
Passwords – The owner’s level, manager’s level and key counter’s level of passwords are entered here.
Operators Id’s - This function allows you to add/or modify employee Id’s.
Data File Security – This program allows you to specify the security level for each data field. For example, you may designate the Item Income fields as being viewable only by the owner.
Menu Security – This function allows you to set the menu options that are available on a terminal by thermal basis. These setting can also be used to define menu security by operator id.
Clear Data Locks - This function will display all file and record locks currently set and optionally allow you to clear them. This function should only be used if a power outage caused the server to shutdown while people were using the system.
User Profiles - This screen displays all of the Point of Rental users along with their printer selection settings.
11. Custom Reports – This program enables you to design your own reports using data from the item, customer or contract files.
12. Customer Reports
Customer Income Menu- This program takes you to the different reports you can run based on your customers income.
Customer Listing – This program generates listing of your customers by restrictions, yearly income, last active date, etc.
Customer Contract Listing – This report list all of the customers that match your selection as well as all the contracts for that customer.
Customer Edit Listing – The report lists all of the edits that were done on customer records for the time period you define.
Customer Labels – The program allows you to print mailing labels for selected groups of customers.
Customer Status Report – this report lists customers grouped by their status.
Customer Credit Limit Report – This report lists all the credit limit and remaining credit for account customers.
Customer Call Log Report - This report lists all of the call logs entered for the time period you select.
Customer Cal Log by Group - This report lists all of the call logs entered for the time period you select. All calls will be grouped by customer nae, call log type or operator name.
Search Customer Call Log - This report allows you to search all Customer Call Logs for a particular word or phrase.
Expired Insurance Report – This report lists all customers whose insurance on file has expired.
Expired Contractor License – This report lists all customers whose contractor’s license on file has expired.
Expired Tax Number – This report lists all customers whose tax number on file has expired.
Last Active Date - This report lists all customer based on the last date they were active. It gives lifetime income of those customer for each grouping.
Customers by Tax Juris – This report lists customers based off of the Tax Jurisdiction you have designated in their customer record.
Customers by Status – This report lists customers based off what is in the STATUS field in their customer record.
Customer by Type – This report lists customers based off what is in the TYPE field in their customer record.
Customers by Options – This report lists customers based off what is in the OPTIONS field in their customer record.
Customers by Salesman – This report lists customers based of the designated Sales Rep in their customer record.
Customers by Price Level – This report shows income for year to date, lifetime and the number o contracts for customers marked with a price level in their customer record, broken down by Price Level A, Price Level B, Price Level C
Customers by Discount - This report lists all customers who have a discount specified in their customer record
Customers by Mass Contract – This report displays how many customers contracts are printed/emailed or faxed at the end of day.
Customers by No Statement – This report lists all customers who are marked in their customer record to not print a statement.
Customer by DW Exempt – This report lists all customers who are marked in their customer record as not being charged a damage waiver.
Customer by IP Exempt - This report lists all customers who are marked in their customer record as Item Percentage Exempt.
Customers by FC Exempt – This report lists all customers who are marked in their customer record as not being charged finance charges.
13. Reservations Report
Reservation Report – This report lists all pending reservations for the date range selected.
Detailed Reservation Report - This report format includes all of the information from the contract including the delivery truck, route number, delivery comments and weight of items to be delivered.
Delivery Report – This report lists all deliveries for the date range selected.
Pick Up Report – This report lists all pick ups for the date range selected.
Subrental Report – This report lists all of the subrentals for the date range selected.
Quoted Report – This report lists all quotes for the date range selected.
Detailed Quote Listing – This report lists every quoted for the selected time period. This report shows the date of the quote, the items on the quote, the prices and any comments for the quote.
Rental Production Analysis – This report lists all of the contracts that you have for the week you select and you select and gives the totals for each day of the week for deliveries and will call along with the average revenue per unit.
Overbook Report – This report lists all items that you have in your inventory that you have written contracts for and exceeded the quantity available in the item record.
Overbook Critical Report – This report lists all items that you have in your inventory that are within the critical quantity available.
Item Availability Report – This report shows you what is available for certain item period broken down between Rentals and Sales. This is the report version of Item Availability on the Counter System.
Item Prep Report – This report lists all items that need to be prepped for delivery.
Loading Report by Truck – This report lists all the items that need to be loaded into a particular truck for a trip.
Loading Report by Stop – This report prints all of the truck
Driver Trip Sheet - This report lists all of the deliveries and pickups for a drivers route.
Transfer Between Stores – This report lists all the transfer contracts that are pending for the item period you selected.
14. Maintenance Reports
Internal Repair Order Report – This report will list all items that are currently out of service for repair.
Repair Order Report by Category – this report will list all the items that are currently out of service for repair. The report will be sorted by Item Category.
Repair Order Report by Group - This report will list all of the items that are currently out of service for repair. Two groupings can be selected for the report.
Repair Order Report by Historical - This report will list all of the items that were out of service during a selected date range. Two groupings can be selected for the report.
Repair Comparison by Month – This chart show the monthly repair costs for the last three years.
Repair Top 10 by Category – This pie chart lists the Top 10 repair cost items for each category
Item Maintenance Report – The Maintenance Report lists any items in your inventory that are approaching or have passed their required maintenance period.
Item Maintenance Listing – This report lists all of the periodic maintenance that has been setup for all items.
Recurring Service Report - This report lists all of the recurring service calls that have been setup on active contracts.
Service Scheduled Report - This report lists all of the service calls that have been created and still need to be performed.
Work Orders Pending Report – This report prints all of the customer’s work orders that are pending.
Work Orders Detail Report – This report lists all of the customer’s work orders that are pending grouped by two users selectable groups.
Customer WO Item Maintenance – This report shows all of your customer’s items that are due for maintenance.
Warranty Claim Listing – This report lists all of the Warranty Claims that have been created.
Item Warranty Listing – This report lists all of the warranty information that has been entered on rental inventory.
License Tag Renewal – This report lists all of the tagged items that need a tag renewal.
15. Inventory Reports
Inventory Reorder Report – This option generates a report of items that should be ordered or are approaching their reorder point.
Resale Items Pending Report - This report lists all of the resale items that are on Reservation contracts. If you are short on any of the items, and item shortage notice will print next to the item.
Excessive Resale Inventory – This report lists all sales inventory with quantity on hand greater than the previous 12 months of sales.
Inventory to Transfer Report - This report lists all the items that are currently located at a different store than its home store and need to be transferred back.
Items Transferred Report - This report lists all of the items that were transferred between stores for the date range selected.
Sales Items Transferred – This report lists all sales inventories that has been transferred from one store to another.
CARB Emissions Report - This report lists all equipment that you have entered information into under the Engine tab along with the pertinent information for emissions reporting.
National Equipment Register - This report is used to export all the information necessary to register rental inventor with the National Equipment Register.
Suggested Items Report – For items with suggested items, this report lists each of those suggested items.
Package Items Report – For items with package items, this report lists each of those package items.
Repair Kits Report – For items with repair kits, this report lists each of those repair kit items.
Inventory Listing – This report allows you to group your items by Category, Tax Jurisdiction, Availability Delay, Require Credit Cars, Non-Discountable, Web Group, Hide on Website and 10 other fields.
Update Inventory Count – This program is used to update the physical inventory count. The new counted quantity can be finalized at any point in the future.
Inventory Count Report – Count sheet for taking physical inventory.
Inventory Report by Vendor - This report shows all inventory broken out by vendor.
Vendor Report – This report lists all of the vendors in your system.
Open Items by Job Site – This report will list all of the items out on rent grouped by Job Site/Venue
Open Items by Division - this report will list all of the items out on rent grouped by Division.
Off Rent by Job Site - This report will list all of the contracts that have been Called Off Rent grouped by Job Site.
Off Rent Report - This report will list all of the contracts that have been Called Off Rent ordered by date.
Items On Lot Report – This report lists all of the serialized items on your rental lot.
Item Edit Listing – This report lists all of the edits that have been done for the selected time period.
Item Rate Structure Listing – This report will show every rate structure that you have set on your rental items making it easier to see items that the rate structure is not properly setup on.
Miscellaneous Item Usage – This report lists the manually entered name for Miscellaneous Items to determine whether a permanent item record should be created.
16. Contract History Reports
Item Contract History – This report lists all of the contracts for the selected item
Item Repair History – This report lists all of the repairs contracts for the selected item.
Customer Contract History – this report lists all of the contracts for the selected customer.
Customer Payment History – This report lists all of the payments made by the selected customer
Customer Item History - This report lists all of the items that this customer has rented in the past.
Items Rented – This report lists all the rental items that were rented for a period of time specified.
Items Out on Rent - This report lists all the rental items that were out on rent on the date selected.
17. Override Reports
Refund of Cash on Contracts - This report lists any contracts that have Cash refunds
Refund of Completed Contracts – This report shows any completed contract that an employee refunded money after I was already completed.
Modify of Completed Contracts – This report shows all modifications done to completed contracts.
Price Override Report – This report shows each price override sorted by employee for the item period selected.
Special Rate Override Report – this report shows each special process setting sorted by employee for the time period selected.
Coupon Given Report - This report shows each contract that a coupon was given, the amount of the coupon, the reason for the coupon, and the percentage of the contract value.
Discounts Given Report - This report shows each contract that a discount was given, the percentage of the discount, and the value of the discount.
Date/Time Out Override - This report shows each contract that the date/time out was changed. This report is sorted by employee for the time period selected.
Hours Override Report. This report shows each hour’s override sorted by employee for the time period selected.
Cancelled Contracts Report – This report shows each time an operator cancels a contract before finishing the open.
Item Quantity Change – This report shows each quantity change sorted by employee for the time period selected.
Credit Limit Overrides – This report lists every time a customer’s credit limit was overridden.
Transaction Edits Report – This report lists each type of transaction edits such as Price Changed, Discount Changed, Due Back Date Changed, etc. grouped by the operator that did the edits.
18. Time Clock Reports
Time Clock Reports – Run this report for all employees, for an individual employee, by group or by store. You can also sort by Employee Name, Store or Group.
Clock In/Out – If you are working on the Program Menu you can clock in an out here without having to go to the Counter System Menu.
Addition Codes – Pay types have already been added such as Vacation Pay, Holiday Pay, Jury Pay, Sick Leave, etc. You have the option to add more.
19. Marketing Reports
Price Listing – This program generates a price listing sorted and formatted in many ways.
Item for Sale – This report lists all of the rental items that have been marked for sale. This report would be handed to a customer.
Items for Sale List – This report lists purchase detail of all the rental items that have been marked for sale. This internal report be used to check that the sales price and other details are correct.
Income by Zip Code Report - This report shows customer income summary by Zip Code.
Income by Zip Code Chart - This pie chart shows customer income summary by Zip Code with the top 10 Zip Codes listed.
Inactive Customer report – this program allows you to list customers by last active date.
How Customer Heard - This report lists each method of how customers heard about you as well as the count of each method. Optionally the customer details can be listed.
Customer Labels – This program allows you to print mailing labels for selected groups or customers.
Customer Labels by Category – This program allows you to generate customer labels based on the Item Category they had rented from.
Address Extraction - This program allows you to export customer addresses for customers who have rented or bought something from a particular category or multiple categories..
Email Extraction – This program allows you to export customer email addresses into a comma delimited format for your marketing company or into Microsoft Excel so you can do your own mail merge.
Email Extraction by Category – This program allows you to export customer email addresses for customers who have rented or bought something from a particular category or multiple categories.
Customer Extraction by Contract – This program allows you to extract customer information based on the status of their contract for a selected time period.
20. Analysis Report
Inventory Analysis - This selection on the menu will bring you the following options:
Item Utilization Report – This report shows the time utilization and the dollar utilization of each item.
Item Utilization Trend - This report shows utilization for three user defined periods. The report si grouped by store and by category. This report gives the gross utilization and the weighed utilization (by inventory value)by grouping as well.
Fleet Utilization – This report provides real time utilization information of bulk and serialized inventory.
Fleet Aging Report - This report breaks out the aging b Division, category and Header Item.
Fleet Value by Year - This chart lists the value of the inventory broken out by year purchased.
Profit Report by Category – This report shows your profit based off of your purchased price compared to the sale price of the item, broken down by category then by item.
Repair Trend Report - This report shows the repair cost for each item for three user defined periods.
Top Items - This report shows the top revenue generating items for the time period specified.
Item Rate Variance - This report shows the retail price and the actual price along with the difference for the time period selected.
Item Rate Analysis - This report shows the percentage of purchase cost for Day, Week and month rates for each item. His is used to help determine if your are charging enough rent.
Special Rate Listing – This report gives a listing of all special rates set in the system.
Best Rental Items Report - This report shows your rental equipment sorted by Item Category and then by Return on Investment.
Inactive Sales Item report – this report lists all of the items that have not been sold since the date selected.
Missed Rental report – This option generates a report of all the missed rentals you messed, sorted by item name.
Item Quantity Overlap - This report allows you to select multiple items for monthly income and times out analysis.
Customer Analysis- This selection on the menu will bring you the following options:
Inactive Customer Report - This program allows you to list customers by last active date.
Customer Count by Year - This report gives a count of all new customers broken down by year and month.
Income variance Report – This report will show all customers whose income has changed by a selected amount between two selected dates.
Income Variance by Group - This report will show any groups of customer whose income has changed by a selected amount between two selected dates. The group is user selected from a number of choices.
Income Variance by Zip Code – This report will show all Zip Codes where the total income has changed by the selected amount between the selected dates.
Income by Zip Code Report - This report shows customer income summary by Zip Code.
Income by Zip Code Chart - This pie chart shows customer income summary by Zip Code with the top 10 Zip Code listed.
Customer Income Menu- This men ahs a number of reports that show customer income broken out by various groupings such as Status, Type, etc
Transaction Analysis - This selection on the menu will bring you the following options:
Average Contract Values - This report shows the total number of contracts by year broken down into Rental, Sale, Damage Waiver, Total Revenue and Contract Count.
Contracts Opened per Day – This report shows how many contracts were opened, set out and closed for each day.
Contracts Opened per Hour - This report shows how many contracts were opened and closed for every hour of the day for each day of the week.
Trans Edit Counts by Operator – This report summarizes the number of contracts opened and closed for every hour of the day for each day of the week.
Trans Edit Counts by Type - This report summarizes for each operator the number of contracts opened, closed, modified and set out by type
Open Contracts Report – The Contracts Opened Analysis report shows the total number of contracts that were Opened, Closed, Modified and Sent Out for each day of the week and totaled for the entire week. You will be asked to enter the desired time period for the report.
Quote Analysis Report – This report shows the number of quotes written each month and the dollar amount of the quotes as well as the number of quotes cancelled and those converted to reservations.
Subrental Analysis - This report will show each Subrental, the associated cost for the Subrental and the subsequent expense and give you total profit or loss for each item.
Repair Analysis Report – This report shows each item that has had repairs for the time period selected as well as the percentage of repair cost to purchase price and item income.
Deliveries Made Analysis - This report summarizes the number of deliveries made for each day of the week for the time period selected.
Delivery Truck Analysis – This report gives you the number of deliveries each truck has made as well as the delivery item income broken down by each month of the year.
Reservation Analysis – This selection on the menu will bring you the following options:
Reservation Value Report – This report gives the value of all reservations broken down by month.
Reservation Value by Salesman – This report gives the value of all reservations broken down by salesman.
Reservation Value by History - This chart lists the value of reservations pending for each month and up to three years in the past.
Reservation Value Trend – The report shows the reservation values that you had each month for the last 4 year broken down by month and year
Reservation Value Trend for a Date - The reports shows the reservation values for the subsequent 12 months for each year of the day selected.
Reservation Value/Revenue Trend - This report shows the reservation value compared to the actual rental revenue for that time period for the last 4 years broken down by month and year.
Reservation Cancellation Analysis – This report shows each Reservation cancelled during selected time period and the subsequent lose of revenue for each.
Aged Analysis – This selection on the menu will bring you the following options:
Avg Days to Pay Report On Account - This report breaks out the number of contracts, the average days, the average contract value, gross amount of the contracts and percentage of totals for your account customers for the last 10 years.
Avg Days to Pay Report Cash - This report breaks out the number of contracts, the average days, the average contract value, gross amounts of the contracts and percentage of the totals for your account and cash account
Average Days to Pay Chart - This chart displays the number of contracts, the average days, the average contract value, gross amount of the contracts and percentage of the totals for your account and cash customers for the last 10 years.
Purchase Order Analysis – This selection on the menu will bring you to a menu to select your report criteria.
Employee Analysis - This selection on the menu will bring you the following options:
Employee Hours Summary - This report shows number of hours worked per day per department.
Overdue Task Percentage - This report shows you what percentage of assigned tasks that are overdue, broken down by year and employee.
Training Database - The training option runs POINT-OF-RENTAL with a training database that does not affect you store’s “real” database. This can be used to train new employees or for trying something new. The training database is updated with current data by backing up the hard drive to tape using the POINT-OF-RENTAL backup icon. When the Training Database option on the Program Menu is checked, you will be using the Training Database. With the checkbox is unchecked, you will be using your real data. When in the Training Database, the background will be bright red with the words Training on it. *Note: The training database is a copy of your real database. Your real database will be copied into your training database every time you perform a system backup. The training database will have your actual items, customer, transactions, etc as of the last system backup. You can add or modify items, customers, or transaction in your training database and it will not affect your real data.
