RFID Setup

While Point of Rental has an RFID software component, we do not support the RFID hardware. The user will need to arrange purchase/setup of the devices through a company such as Posittek.

The devices communicate to Point of Rental through IMPINJ Speedway Connect. Below are crucial pieces of the speedway configuration that allow that communication.

POR uses a TCP client to listen to an IP Address using a port. POR captures a stream and terminates each tag on a carriage return.
