Unverified Transactions (via Storefront API)

Unverified Transactions are automatically generated in Elite when customers submit quotes through Storefront. In Elite versions 2026.01 and later, they are also created when a user marks a transaction as unverified through the contract processing interface. You can find them via system notifications or by selecting the Unverified Transactions view in the Contract Search screen. After reviewing and completing any missing details, you can convert the transaction into a reservation and verify it—at which point it will be removed from the Unverified view.

What Does “Unverified” Mean?

When transactions are submitted through Storefront, they’re automatically posted into Elite using the API—you don't need to manually import them. However, these transactions are flagged as Unverified, so you can review them before turning them into reservations.

ℹ️ In Elite versions 2026.02 and above, Unverified transactions will not be emailed with a Quiklink to avoid a customer paying on a transaction that has not been finalized.

The Unverified Transactions view in Elite helps you identify and manage these items efficiently.

In Elite versions 2026.01 and above, transactions can also be marked as 'Unverified' through contract processing in Elite.

How to Find Unverified Transactions

You can locate unverified transactions in two ways:

Set up a Web Quote Import Notification

You can configure this for one or all of your stores. Notifications will be sent based on your default method of contact (as defined in your operator record).

Use the Unverified Transactions view in Elite

Open the view selector in the Contract Search screen and choose Unverified Transactions. This view is available by default and filters contracts based on the Unverified flag, which is automatically applied when a transaction is imported from Storefront.

There is also a 'Source' column and filter option available, which users can enable to see exactly where the transaction originated. This column is available for Elite versions 2025.12 and above.

What to Do With Unverified Transactions

Once you’ve found an unverified transaction:

  1. Review and edit the transaction details.

  2. Reach out to the customer for any missing information.

  3. When you're ready, convert the transaction into a reservation.

When you make changes or save it as a reservation, you’ll see a prompt: “Would you like to verify this contract?”

If you confirm, the transaction will be marked as verified and removed from the Unverified view. This ensures only transactions still needing attention remain visible.
