Getting to the Change Status tab
To access the Change Status tab, you must "view" the contract (be in Inquire mode) or start a new contract. The "Change Status" option is not available if you choose "Modify Contract."

Changing the contract status during the creation of a contract
When creating a new Express, Normal, Asset Sale, Quote, or Reservation contract, you can change its status from Quote to Reservation. You can also convert it to an Open status and back to a Reservation. You can make these changes as long as the contract has not been saved and assigned a contract number.
Click on Change Status at the top of the screen within the contract to make the change.
When changing from Quote or Reservation status to an Open status, you will be asked if you want the time recomputed on the contract. Additionally, any item that has been added as the header record will require you to select a serialized item for the Open contract. Please note that you cannot change an Open contract that has been issued a contract number back to a Quote. You can clone a Reservation or Open contract and change the status to Quote.
Changing an Open contract back to a Reservation
The steps below apply to both Expert and Elite. Please note that you cannot change an Open contract that has been issued a contract number back to a Quote. You can clone a Reservation or Open contract and change the status to Quote.
- In Expert: Go to Counter System > Day at a Glance > Open Items tab.
In Elite: Left Menu > Tools > Day at a Glance > Open Items tab.
2. Right-click on the desired contract and choose Change to Reservation. Please note that if you choose "modify," the Change Status tab will not be available. You have to "view" the contract or start a new contract to have the "change status" option available.
Changing the contract status of a Work Order from the creation of the contract
When creating a new Work Order, click on Change Status to change it to a Quote.
