How to Ensure the Daily Credit Card Totals
Credit Card Inquire is a useful tool for those wanting to check their store’s integrated credit card balance. It quickly checks whether your Point of Rental credit card total matches your CAYAN account’s credit card total.
During the End of Day process, this is automatically checked. If the totals are imbalanced, then the End of Day process cannot complete and a call to Point of Rental software support is required to troubleshoot, (800) 944-7368.
Please be aware transactions can take up to 5 minutes to post to your CAYAN account.
Rental stores can perform a credit card inquire at any time. To do so:
- Navigate to Program Menu > End of Day Processing
- Click the Credit Card Inquire button
- Click the Submit button.
If totals match the Processor Balance total will match the POR Total. See the image below.
If the Processor Balance total and the POR Total do not match, then you will see an amount next to Diff. This requires a call into Point of Rental software support to troubleshoot, (800) 944-7368.
