Item Specs Powered by EquipmentWatch®
Overview: This tool allows users to update their item specs from EquipmentWatch®, based on the item’s Manufacturer and Model Number.
1. Open any item through File Maintenance
2. From the menu bar, select Functions>Modify, then click ‘Add EquipmentWatch Specs’
3. A window will open with the EquipmentWatch Specs displayed on the left, and the current item specs displayed on the right. *Note: If the item does not have a model number defined, then the system will open the Asset tab and automatically place the cursor in this field.
4. Users may simply copy and paste the specs from the left panel into the right panel or edit the text to their preferences.
5. Click cancel or ‘X’ to discard changes.
6. Click OK to update the specs tab with the new specs data; click OK again to exit the item record and save the changes.
Once the information has been imported, you will be able to view it from the item record Specs field.
