Items Specs for Integrated POR Websites
Overview: When shopping online nothing can be more frustrating than reading an inaccurate, inadequate, or overly-detailed description of an item. This document will cover some of the dos and don’ts of creating an appealing item description.
• Avoid cutting & pasting long specs from manufacturers – instead, try to include useful information that will help your online customers, e.g. dimensions, weight, power spec, restrictions of use, etc.
• When you get repeated phone calls/email messages from customers asking the same questions about an item, don’t forget to enter that information into the Spec field!
• Instead of “UPPER CASE”, use “Sentence case” throughout all specs to keep your contracts and website looking more professional.
