The Point of Rental Learning & Development team is excited to introduce Point of Rental Academy. This portal offers over 200 courses, available as live training sessions or self-paced learning. Our self-paced options include videos and interactive courses designed to help you and your team gain a deeper understanding of Point of Rental software when it is convenient for you. Accessing POR Academy

POR Academy can be accessed directly from uLearn or through this link.

You can access POR Academy through uLearn by going to Training (in the navigation bar) and selecting e-Learning.

How to Register

  1. Go to POR Academy.

  2. Click Sign Up.


  3. Complete the form and press submit. 

 

ℹ️Be sure to submit the form using your work email. Entering a personal email will delay the completion of your request, as it will take POR teams longer to verify it.

POR Academy is compatible with the following web browsers:  

 

  • Google Chrome

  • Mozilla Firefox

  • Apple Safari 

  • Microsoft Edge

 

We support the most recent major versions, as well as previous major versions, of these browsers. To ensure optimal performance while using POR Academy, you may be required to enable JavaScript, allow cookies, and use TLS v1.2 or later. Navigating POR Academy

This section covers the navigation bar tabs: Home, My Learning, Catalog, and Forum.

Home tab
  • View courses and learning paths that are not started or in progress. This change helps you quickly resume training without navigating through multiple menus.
  • Switch between courses and learning paths/journeys from a single view. 

My Learning tab

The My Learning tab displays all enrolled content, regardless of completion status.  Here you can view not started, in progress, and completed courses, and use tabs to switch between Courses and Learning Paths

Catalog tab

The Catalog is where you can browse and discover all available courses and learning paths in the POR Academy. In the Catalog, you can:

 

  1. Search or browse available training courses or learning paths.
  2. You can filter by Content Type to select between courses and learning paths/journeys. Use the other filters to further narrow content.
  3. Hover over or select a course to view details. Choose Enroll to add the course to the "My Learning" tab.

     

     

     

     Enrolling in Courses using the Catalog

    Follow the steps below to enroll in courses in the catalog. 

     

    1. Search or browse available training courses or learning paths.

    2. You can filter by Content Type to select between courses and learning paths/journeys. Use the other filters to further narrow content.

    3. Hover over or select a course to view details. Choose Enroll to add the course to the "My Learning" tab.

    Taking Control of Your Team's Training (Manager Access)

    By default, you can enroll in courses. But if you are in a managerial role with your company and would like to enroll others and track their course progress, we can change your settings to “manager” so that you can manage your group.
