Switching to Vertex Cloud O Series - Rest v2

1. Get your new credentials from Vertex:  Client Id, Client Secret using the VERX IDP option within the portal interface (Gear icon > Security and Credentials > Create a Credential) 

2. Credential Type =  VERX IDP

3. Credential Usage = Rest API for O Series Calculation 

4. In Elite Parameters Configuration, go to the Store 1 Accounting tab (Configuration > App Configuration > System Configuration > Parameters > Store 1 > Accounting Tab)

   1. Set Sales Tax Calculation Method to - Vertex v2

   2. Click OK
      
      
      

5. In Elite, go to the Configuration Gear icon in the upper right
   
   
   

6. In the API Configurations area, click on Vertex to open that section.
   
   
   
   

7. Enter the information below:
   
   

   1. Enter your new Vertex Client Id as the Vertex API Key

   2. Enter your new Vertex Client Secret as the Vertex API Password

   3. Enter the new Tax Calculation URL:  https://calcconnect.vertexsmb.com/vertex-ws/v2/supplies

   4. Enter the new Address URL: https://calcconnect.vertexsmb.com/vertex-ws/v2/address-lookup

   5. Enter the Identity Authorization URL: https://tokenguard.vertexcloud.com/cached/oauth/token

   6. The Vertex Company Code should remain as is.

   7. Submit the changes
      
      

8. Make a test call to Vertex to verify communication is working between systems
