Important Information
Understanding the importance of inactivity and password requirements is crucial for maintaining security standards with PORCloud v2.
Idle Timeout - If there is no activity from your session for an hour, our system will automatically log you out. To continue using Point of Rental, you will need to log back in.
Password Reset - After 30 days, it is mandatory to update your passwords. For security purposes, ensure that your password contains at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number, and one symbol. Additionally, the password should be between 8 to 12 characters long.
Resetting passwords
1. Log into your company’s web portal with your password reset user.
2. Select the User Management icon and log into the server, If you do not see this option then you might not be allowed to reset your password. Please contact Support@PointofRental.com.
3. Navigate to the [enter domain].porcloud.com > PORCLOUD > pointOFRental folder in the left panel.
4. Right-click on the user in question, and select Reset Password.
5. Enter and confirm the new password.
6. Uncheck the box for User must change password at next logon.
7. Select OK.
