Elite Cloud File Storage:

File attachments, instructions, and photos move from on-prem server drives to secure cloud storage. Access them from the left-menu File Management area with dedicated security controls. This improves reliability and reduces server maintenance. For more information, see the article File Storage in Elite.

"Source" for Online Transactions:

The Unverified Transactions view now shows where each online order originated (website, POR One, etc.). Use the new Source column and filter to track and audit online orders more easily. (Link coming soon)

Phone Number Validation at Checkout:

Checkout now applies country codes correctly (for example, +1 for the US, +44 for the UK) so saved numbers are valid. This reduces confusion and support calls after submission.

AI Prompt Box for Email Templates:

Generate or refine template copy directly from the email template screen. Choose a tone such as Professional, Friendly, Persuasive, or Polite. Existing tags remain intact so messages stay formatted correctly. For more information, please see our article Email Letters (Elite)

Overdue Items Warning for New Rentals:

If a customer with overdue items starts a new rental or sends out a reservation, the counter person now sees a consolidated warning, helping you resolve issues before more equipment goes out. For more information, see the articles New Contract and Send Out Reservation.

Google Maps in Tracking Tab for Consumer Portal:

The Tracking tab now uses Google Maps for geocoding. You’ll see more accurate locations and familiar visuals, making real-time rental tracking clearer.

Contract History Limited to 12 Months:

Consumer Portal now shows contract history from the past 12 months only. This keeps accounts tidy and highlights the most relevant information.

Smarter Sales Rep Assignment for Deliveries:

When using the Territory option for default transaction representative, assignment now prioritizes the delivery ZIP code. The correct rep gets credit for business in their territory. For more information, see article Territories

Seamless Transition to QuikLink for Email Templates:

During migration to Consumer Portal, existing email templates automatically update from legacy RentalHosting tags to QuikLink tags. Outbound emails keep the correct links without manual edits.

Retokenize Email Passwords in Operator Tools:

If you use an email account with OAuth credentials, you can now retokenize the password directly in Operator Tools, reducing reauthentication requests to admins. For more information, see the article Operator Information.

Improved Bidadoo Request Form:

The form now sets the subject to “Sell with bidadoo inquiry – [Company]” and the body to “I’m interested in selling the following item.” It also populates current total hours for applicable units to provide complete information up front.

No More "Ready Tags" for Voided Reservations:

Fixed an issue that created Ready Tags for serialized items when reservations were voided. A Ready Tag is now generated only when an item is returned on a contract.

Accurate List Price Imports for Parts:

List prices now import exactly as specified in your CSV or spreadsheet—no unintended rounding to whole dollars—so your pricing and inventory remain precise.

Invoice Line Items Now Match Contract Order:

The Invoices API now returns line items in the same order as the printed contract, keeping system integrations consistent with what your team and customers see.

Improved Item Rate Updates for Base Rate Engines:

Price Adjustments now correctly update item rates even when using the store’s default Base Rate Engine. Whether you set a Rate Engine ID or rely on the default, base rate changes are applied.

Memory Lane Monday

This is a fun corner where we republish release notes from previous sprints you may have forgotten about. These release notes are from 2024.13.

Invoices in Consumer Portal:

If an invoice is modified after it has been posted to Consumer Portal, the latest change replaces the original invoice. If closed mods are enabled, the resulting credit is handled separately.
