| We are listening! Items with this label are a result of your suggestions in uInnovate. Please continue to share and support those ideas that help your business. | |
| Items with this label are features that may require adjustments to security or configuration and may have implications for your operations or current workflows. We recommend reading these and understanding the impact prior to updating. |
AI Chatbot: AI Support Chat is now available from the right hand panel in Elite. Have a quick question? Save yourself the hassle of calling support and ask our knowledgeable new friend.
Driver Fulfillment: Check-In/Check-Out Synced to Fulfillment:
Introducing Driver Fulfillment in POR One: drivers can record item quantities during check-outs and check-ins right in the app, and those entries automatically sync to Elite Fulfillment. Built for parity with MWF driver fulfillment and designed to keep working even when connectivity isn’t perfect, this streamlines tracking, reduces manual re-entry, and keeps your operations and back office in lockstep—less clipboard, more go-time.
Link Line‑Item Availability to Logistics Tickets:
When you change a line item’s availability dates, you’ll be prompted to update other items on its logistics ticket to the same date, keeping your contract and logistics in sync. If multiple availability dates exist, you’ll see a clickable “Multiple” label at the bottom of the contract with options to update all lines, only unset lines, or cancel—helping you keep dates correct without breaking a sweat. For more information about line item availability, see the article Line Item Availability.
Close All Fulfilled Items Without Overtime:
New option: close all fulfilled items and return counted inventory to stock without adding or modifying overtime charges. Your rates stay put, your shelves look fuller, and your blood pressure stays lower.
Protect Sensitive IDs with Masked Display:
Driver’s License and Social Security Number fields can now be entered without being visible unless you have a higher display password. You can type the values at lower access levels, but they show as asterisks—protecting PII while keeping your workflow moving.
Color Legend for Item Availability:
A handy legend icon now appears above item grids on selection screens in the top right of the screen. This legend is a quick guide to the color codes—green, blue, yellow, red, purple—and background colors for rental vs. sale items, so everyone reads availability the same way without guesswork.
Clearer End‑of‑Day Lock Message:
We rewrote the EOD clear‑lock message to explain what’s actually locked and how to resolve it, so you’re not calling support for something only your team can fix. Less mystery, more action.
End of Day: Re-read Register File after Late e‑Commerce Payments:
End of Day now re-reads the register file after importing late e‑commerce payments during End of Day, making sure those payments are included and prevent end of day adjustments on the Check and Card Report (EOD-ADJ). Fewer surprises, smoother closes.
End‑of‑Month: Don’t Block This Month for Last Month’s Oops:
If you ran last month’s End of Month in the first half of the current month, you can still close this month on time. The system now only treats EOMs after the 15th as the current month’s close, eliminating those frustrating stops when last month’s end of month went awry and the close didn’t complete until after the 1st.
End of Day: PORPay + RentalHosting Payment Check:
For sites using PORPay with RentalHosting web tags, End of Day now checks for unimported online payments just like it does for Cayan. That means fewer check card imbalances and a calmer End of Day.
Single‑Jurisdiction Tax Breakout Support:
“Allocate by Jurisdiction” tax tables can now be set up with just one active jurisdiction. This supports printing the correct tax number and description on contracts while keeping calculations accurate for single‑jurisdiction setups. For more information about tax jurisdictions, see the article Adding Tax Jurisdictions.
Respect “Do Not Use Historical Numbers” for Cards:
When a customer is set to not use historical numbers, previously used credit cards no longer appear in payment windows for new transactions. The setting does what it says—goodbye, accidental card reuse.
PORPay: Correct Previous Payment Can Now Use a Stored Credit Card Token:
Correcting a previous PORPay credit card payment now lets you select (or auto‑fill) the original card, making refunds far simpler and avoiding a dead end in the card picker.
Note: This feature only works if your payment processor has Independent Refunds enabled.
Cloning Contracts Honors Max Delivery/Pickup Limits:
Cloning a delivery contract no longer sneaks past your delivery/pickup maximums. Delivery and pickup boxes will now start unchecked on the clone, so users choose new dates and see warnings if limits are exceeded.
Report Exports Ignore Browser Language:
Exporting reports and table data now works regardless of your browser’s language. Whether you’re in English, French, or beyond, your files land where they should—sans error pop‑ups.
Overbooked Line Options Visible in Any Language:
When items are overbooked, the options to request a subrental, change the subrental quantity, or create a transfer now appear correctly for users working in French and other supported languages.
Translate Transaction Operations from the UI:
You can now add translations for contract/transaction operations directly in the UI. The translation icon has been reused from other records like item file and allows for the entry of translated text. That translation then shows in the operations dropdown for users set to that language.
USF | Display Used Equipment on Unified Storefront: (Releasing 10/21)
You can now showcase used equipment for sale directly on your Unified Storefront, giving customers an easy way to browse second-hand items with images, names, and prices. A new “Used Equipment” section highlights older fleet and helps drive visibility to your resale items.
Note: This release focuses on display only and currently shows “Call for Pricing” on each item. Checkout for used equipment will be added in a future update.
USF | Create Admin-Side Configuration for Used Equipment: (Releasing 10/21)
You can now create a custom “Used Equipment for Sale” menu item in your storefront. This menu item behaves like an item container but displays only sellable used-equipment items, giving you full control over how they’re organized and presented. It makes it easier to highlight and manage your second-hand inventory without mixing it into your rental catalog.
USF | Footer Options – Hide Default Footer:
A new “Hide Default Footer” setting makes it simple to display only your custom footer or keep both the default and custom footers visible, no custom CSS required. This gives you more control over the look and feel of your storefront’s footer area.
Memory Lane Monday: This is a fun corner where we republish release notes from previous sprints you may have forgotten about.
Added a configuration in the Admin Panel to turn off call-off and service requests: Some rental stores, (event in particular) don’t offer call-off capabilities or have requests for service, so we added configurations that hides the option of calling off items and requesting service in the My Rentals section. This helps you customize your user experience of the Consumer Portal.
Added a configuration in the Admin Panel to turn off the Tracking tab: Some rental stores, (event in particular) don’t have a need to show item tracking information, so we added a configuration that hides the option for showing the Tracking tab in Consumer Portal.
