Elite Cloud File Storage:

As we move Elite Cloud to a more modern platform, the storage of files that would otherwise be on the server drive (for things like attachments, instructions, pictures, etc.) will be moved to cloud storage. Users will be able to access these records from a left menu option called ‘File Management’ that has its own security controls. Over the next several months, we will be migrating users in groups. An email will go out the day before you are migrated informing you. For more information, please reference the uLearn article: File Storage in Elite.

DL Scanners with Cloud Bridge:

Driver’s license scanners, like printers, can now be mapped through Cloud Bridge. This eliminates the need for a VPN to maintain the scanner functionality and is part of the broader modernization efforts Elite is undergoing. It is also required for all of our cloud-hosted customers to move their DL scanners to the new Cloud Bridge mapping before February 13, 2026, or risk loss of functionality.  If you need assistance, please reach out so we can create a ticket to help you with this process. To learn more, please see the article Driver's License Scanners With Cloud Bridge.

Improvements to Used Equipment Listings:

Used equipment detail pages now provide clearer, more complete information to help buyers evaluate the exact unit before contacting the store. Pages now display Model Name, Model Number, Model Year, Manufacturer, and Item Key when available (fields only appear if data exists). Listings now prioritize photos tied to the specific stock unit. If no stock photos are available, the product-level photo is shown as a fallback. This reduces confusion and better represents the actual unit.  Buyers get more accurate visuals, clearer specs, and easy access to supporting documents—all in one place.

Custom Messages When Pricing Is Hidden:

You can now configure a plain-text message to display when pricing is hidden on product pages and in the cart. The message replaces the price on the product page and appears once as an informational banner in the cart. This applies when pricing is hidden at the item or category level (not for company-level or overbook-based rules) and is configured in Front End settings (may require role/permission update.  This helps set clear expectations for customers without exposing rates.

Inventory Count Search Settings Now Persist:

You can now configure a plain-text message to display when pricing is hidden on product pages and in the cart. The message replaces the price on the product page and appears once as an informational banner in the cart.  This applies when pricing is hidden at the item or category level (not for company-level or overbook-based rules) and is configured in Front End settings (may require role/permission update.  This helps set clear expectations for customers without exposing rates.

No payment QuikLinks on unverified transactions:
Emails and SMS for unverified transactions no longer include a payment QuikLink, helping prevent unintended payments on unconfirmed contracts. On the print screen, QuikLink options are disabled when a contract is unverified or when multiple contracts are selected. The print screen title will also now show the contract number and unverified status to keep you informed. To learn more, see the article Unverified Transactions and QuikLink Overview (Elite Only).

New Special Days API exposes non-standard store hours:
Use the new /public/api/Depots/specialDays endpoint to retrieve dates with non-standard open/close times, such as early closings or blocked delivery windows. This helps your websites and integrations present accurate availability beyond full-day holiday closures.

Billing address now used for POR Pay:
When a customer's billing address exists, POR Pay will now use it for the credit card charge. If no billing address is on file, the main customer address is used. This helps reduce card declines caused by zip code mismatches.

Ready Status column and filter in Item Search (browser):
A Ready Status column and filter were added in browser-based Item Search so you can quickly view Ready, Not Ready, or Not Set items. This helps you focus on items needing attention and build targeted lists.

Void availability-delay (rD) contracts to free inventory earlier:
You can now void availability-delay (rD) contracts to release inventory before the scheduled date/time. This is useful if you need to correct mistakes or if the item is ready early. End-of-day processing will still clean up these contracts as expected, and item availability will be updated immediately after the contract is voided. To learn more, see the article Item Availability Delay.

QuikLinks stay valid when quotes become reservations:
When a quote becomes a reservation, Elite now notifies Consumer Portal so the payment QuikLink continues to point to the correct contract. Customers can keep using the same link without errors, reducing support calls. No action is required for existing links. To learn more, see the article QuikLink Overview (Elite Only).

Raw HTML Code Removed from Day at a Glance letters:
Day at a Glance email letters no longer display raw HTML in the message body. Your recipients will see clean, readable content for Verify, Reminder, and Generic letters.

Re-selecting Serialized Units and Ready Tags:
Re-selecting a serialized unit on a reservation no longer queues the removed unit for a Ready Tag inspection if it has not been on rent. The unit keeps its prior Ready/Not Ready state, reducing unnecessary work and confusion. For more information, see the article Ready Tags.

Limit Receive Action in Item Availability to Sales Items:
In Item Availability, Receive Items, and Count Items actions are now enabled only for Sales – Normal, Sales – Fractional, and Sales – Parts items. These options are disabled for rental items, headers, and other types as they were never intended to be used for items other than sales items.

Quotes no longer appear on statements printed from File Maintenance:
Statements printed from File Maintenance now exclude quotes, whether historical or current, so you and your customers see only billable contracts. This aligns the File Maintenance statements with the customer Dashboard behavior when quotes are filtered out.

Memory Lane Monday: This is a fun corner where we republish release notes from previous sprints you may have forgotten about.

Add Fuel to Contract Without a Task on POR One:

There is a new icon on the Inventory Details page for certain items! Fuel can now be added to an inventory item when that item is on a Contract that isn’t closed. This allows fuel to be added as a line item to the Contract without needing a task. Operationally, this allows the driver to complete their Check-In task, and then the item can be fueled later.

Item Status Column in Day At A Glance:

Are you a fan of the status label on an item that displays Available, IRO, Not Ready, etc.?  Good.  Great.  Grand. It is now a column option in Day at a Glance. The column itself is called ‘Item Status’ and can be manipulated like other columns. Now. ‘Item Status’ as a label was previously used for the line item status of the contract line item in Day At A Glance. We have relabeled that column as ‘Line Status’. It will not affect your columns' display or order; the label will just update.
