How to Store a Credit Card on File

Pre-emptively storing a customer’s credit card on-file supported by Point of Rental.  You can save a credit card on file from the customer record and from a contract. 

Please be aware a $1.00 pre-authorization is performed to the card which will expire on its own.  This is to retrieve a secure token for the card.  Only one card can be stored at a time.

To store a credit card on the customer record:

1. Navigate to Program Menu > Counter System > Customer Dashboard
2. Search and select the desired customer
3. Double-click on the customer name, in blue, to open their customer record

1. Click Tools > Store Credit Card

1. Either click Customer Swipe or Manual Entry.

To store a credit card on a contract:

1. Modify the desired contract
2. Click Tools > Set Credit Card

1. Either click Customer Swipe or Manual Entry.
