What does it do?

Rather than building or running a report to find an answer, you can ask a question in plain language. For example, you can ask questions about your customers or inventory and the assistant will pull the answer from data already in your system. It can also show the formula or logic behind an answer, so you can verify how it was calculated.

What can it not do?

• The assistant cannot build custom reports. It can only answer questions using data that already exists.
• Guarantee accuracy. As with any AI tool, it can occasionally produce an incorrect answer. If something looks off, use the thumbs-down option to send feedback rather than relying on it as-is. 

Turning It On

The feature itself is already part of your license, but it won't appear on your screen until you turn on the related security setting. 

Follow the instructions below to enable it.

1. Go to the Gear icon
   
    

2. Press Security located under System
   
    

3. Search for RI Assistant in the search bar and enable it for your groups by selecting yes in the available group dropdowns.

   
      

4. You now have access to an AI assistant inside Elite. It appears as a floating green robot icon in the bottom-right corner of your screen.
   

How To Use It

1. It appears as a floating green robot icon in the bottom-right corner of your screen.

   

    

2. Get started by using any of the pre-populated prompts or asking a different question directly into the query box.

3. Rate the AI's response by clicking the thumbs-up or thumbs-down options. This will help train the AI. For more information on how the response was generated, click the Info icon.
