Topics Included in This Article

Prerequisites and Access

  • POR One version: 2025.07 or newer

  • Elite version: 2025.08 or newer

  • Licensing: A POR One Basic User license is required for each user, and the Time Clock feature must be licensed for your organization.

  • Permissions: An Admin at the location must enable Time Clock for intended POR One users.

Enable Time Clock for Users (Admin)

  1. In Elite, verify the Time Clock feature license is enabled for the organization.

  2. In POR One, go to Settings > Users.

  3. Select a user and toggle on Time Clock access.

  4. Confirm the user has an active POR One Basic User license.

  5. (Optional) Assign the user to Groups (Roles) and Store Locations as needed.

Clock In or Out

  1. Open POR One and tap Time Clock. If you have no punches today, you’ll see a blank state and a message that you’re not punched in.

  2. If prompted, confirm your Role (Group) and Store Location.

  3. Tap Clock In/Out. POR One logs the punch and syncs with Elite.

  4. You can clock in with POR One and clock out in Elite, or vice versa—both remain in sync.

  5. After clocking out, verify that the Today and Yesterday tabs reflect your activity.

Choose Role (Group) and Store Location

  • If you’re assigned to multiple Groups, select the appropriate Role before punching.

  • If you’re assigned to multiple Stores, select the correct Store Location for the shift.

  • If you have only one Group or Store, POR One auto-selects it—no action needed.

View Today & Yesterday Punches (Overnight Shifts)

  • Use the Today and Yesterday tabs to review punches.

  • For overnight shifts, you might see the clock-in on Yesterday (e.g., 10:00 PM) and the clock-out on Today (e.g., 8:00 AM).

  • Confirm there are no gaps across days for continuous tracking.

Mobile Workforce Migration

  • POR One Time Clock replaces Time Clock in Mobile Workforce.

  • Users who relied on Mobile Workforce for punching can migrate to POR One and gain:

    • Role/Group and Store selection at punch time

    • Clear Today/Yesterday history view

    • Feature parity with additional enhancements

Troubleshooting & Geo-location Tips

  • Geo-location capture: Each punch records latitude/longitude and syncs to Elite.

  • If location data is missing:

    • Ensure the device’s location services are on.

    • In your device settings, allow the POR One app to access Location (While Using the App or Always, per policy).

    • Retry the punch.

FAQ

Which versions support Time Clock?

POR One 2025.07+ and Elite 2025.08+.

Do I need a special license?

Yes. Your org must enable the Time Clock feature license, and each user needs a POR One Basic User license. An Admin must then enable Time Clock for each user.

Can I clock in with POR One and clock out in Elite (or vice versa)?

Yes. Punches sync both ways.

How do I pick my role and store?

If you’re assigned to multiple roles or stores, selection prompts appear before punching. With only one assignment, POR One auto-selects for you.

Why isn’t my location showing?

Check device location settings and POR One app permissions; then try again.

Can I see previous punches?

Yes. Use Today and Yesterday tabs to review recent history, including overnight continuity.
