International Addresses
This feature is only available in Elite. If you do business across borders, knowing the country where the address resides is important. When International Addresses is enabled, country fields become available allowing you to add a country to an address in the store address, on the customer record for both the customer address and the customer billing address, on the job site/venue address, and the delivery/pickup address. It's an informational field that doesn't affect routing or delivery fees.
Setup
To use the country fields you'll need to configure International Addresses security and then enable it. - To start, go to the Configuration gear option in the top right corner.
- Scroll down to the System options then select Security.
- Search for Internation Addresses. It can be found in the Configuration area.
- When the security is enabled, the check box will be available to select in the browser configurations. Once checked, it will reveal the fields in both the browser and the core screens.
- To view the changes, you'll need to log out and log back in to see the change take effect. There are additional security options that control the view and modification of the browser fields that can be enforced on a company, group, or user basis if so desired.
