As we move Elite Cloud forward to a more modern platform, the storage of files that would otherwise happen on the server drive (for things like attachments, instructions, pictures, etc) will be moved to cloud storage. Users will be able to access these records from a left menu option called ‘File Management’ that has its own security controls. Over the next several months we will be migrating users in groups. An email will go out the day before you are migrated informing you. For more information please reference the uLearn article: File Storage in Elite.
Helping You Help Your Customers
Driver Fulfillment: Check-In/Check-Out Synced to Fulfillment
Introducing Driver Fulfillment in POR One: drivers can record item quantities during check-outs and check-ins right in the app, and those entries automatically sync to Elite Fulfillment. Built for parity with MWF driver fulfillment and designed to keep working even when connectivity isn’t perfect, this streamlines tracking, reduces manual re-entry, and keeps your operations and back office in lockstep—less clipboard, more go-time.
Data Access Tool for AWS
For AWS users, there is now a tool available to pull specific data sets from your database. The tool itself is easy to download and install from porhelp.com under the Utilities section. The data views are pulled to a local terminal via an ODBC connection and can then be linked to Power BI, Excel, etc and the data manipulated or used to create reporting. Your system does have to be enabled to allow access to your database, so please reach out to support when ready.
Artificial Intelligence Updates
AI Chatbot - Your 24/7 Point of Rental Assistant
AI Support Chat is now available from the right-hand panel in Elite. Have a quick question? Save yourself the hassle of calling support and ask our knowledgeable new friend.
POR One: Mobile Updates
Important Information at Your Fingertips and Easier Add-To-Cart
On phones and tablets, product pages now present information in a consistent, conversion-friendly order, Title, Gallery, Rental Rates, Options, Add-ons, then Description and Specs, matching desktop so customers find pricing and attachments faster. Also, the Add to Cart button stays at the bottom of the screen on mobile as you scroll, then politely unsticks when you reach its section (and never sticks on desktop). Accessibility and core interactions, such as photo zoom, variant selection, and add-on pricing, continue to work as designed.
Payments Updates
Correct Previous Payment Can Now Use a Stored Credit Card Token with POR Pay
Correcting a previous PORPay credit card payment now lets you select (or auto‑fill) the original card, making refunds far simpler and avoiding a dead end in the card picker.
Note: This feature only works if your payment processor has Independent Refunds enabled.
End of Day Updates for Your eCommerce Transactions
For sites using PORPay with RentalHosting web tags, End of Day now checks for unimported online payments just like it does for Cayan. That means fewer check card imbalances and a calmer End of Day. Also in End of Day, Elite now re-reads the register file after importing late e‑commerce payments during End of Day, making sure those payments are included and prevent end of day adjustments on the Check and Card Report (EOD-ADJ). Fewer surprises, smoother closes.

✅ Close All Fulfilled Items Without Adding Overtime Charges
You can now close all fulfilled items and return counted inventory to stock without adding or modifying overtime charges. Your rates stay put, your shelves look fuller, and your blood pressure stays lower.
✅ Protect Sensitive ID Information with Masked Display
Driver’s License and Social Security Number fields can now be entered without being visible unless you have a higher display password. You can type the values at lower access levels, but they show as asterisks—protecting PII while keeping your workflow moving.
✅ Color Legend Show Your Current Item Availability
A handy legend icon now appears above item grids on selection screens in the top right of the screen. This legend is a quick guide to the color codes—green, blue, yellow, red, purple—and background colors for rental vs. sale items, so everyone reads availability the same way without guesswork.
✅ “Do Not Use Historical Numbers” for Credit Cards
When a customer is set to “Do not use historical numbers,” previously used credit cards no longer appear in payment windows for new transactions. The setting does what it says—goodbye, accidental card reuse.
✅ Choose the Number of Bank Deposit Slip Copies in Account Payments
When you choose to print a Bank Deposit Slip after making Account Payments, we’ll now ask how many copies you want. It defaults to 2 (so your muscle memory still works), but you can pick just 1 and save a tree or 5 and make the Lorax cry.
✅ Sales Rep Notifications for Consumer Portal Payments
When a contract payment is made via Consumer Portal, the sales rep assigned as the transaction sales rep on the transaction now receives the same receipt sent to the customer by email or SMS based on their notification preference. If no sales rep is assigned or their notification preference is set to None, no notification is sent.
✅ Preserve Pickup Dates During Auto Continuation Billing for Long-Term Monthly Contracts
Auto Continuation Billing now preserves a set pickup date in the final month of long-term contracts written for a 1-month (672-hour) period. The system creates the next contract segment to align due date and hours to the pickup date, helping you avoid missed pickups.
✅ Rate Adjustment Tool: Smarter Handling of Special Rates
Adjusting future rates with the Rate Adjustment tool has been tweaked to make managing these store special rates easier. Setting a new future rate now updates existing open-ended store special rate records by setting their end date to the day before the new rate starts, instead of deleting them. Contract writing also now supports an open-ended and a closed-ended special rate working together, helping you manage promotions without gaps or incorrect pricing.
✅ Choose One-Way or Round-Trip When Creating Future Transfers
Transfer logic has always caused some confusion among our users. When you create a transfer from Item Availability, a contract, or a PO, the system now prompts you to choose one-way or round-trip and sets the transfer accordingly for accurate availability. If no Xfer-Store (ex. A customer with a key of Xfer-1) customer is available, the prompt is skipped and the transfer is treated as one-way. Simply add this transfer customer to see this prompt. This update makes it very clear to the end user what kind of transfer they are writing.
eCommerce Updates
Display Used Equipment on Unified Storefront
You can now showcase used equipment for sale directly on your Unified Storefront, giving customers an easy way to browse second-hand items with images, names, and prices. You can also now create a custom “Used Equipment for Sale” menu item. A new “Used Equipment” section highlights older fleet and helps drive visibility to your resale items.
Footer Options – Hide Default Footer
A new “Hide Default Footer” setting makes it simple to display only your custom footer or keep both the default and custom footers visible, no custom CSS required. This gives you more control over the look and feel of your storefront’s footer area.
Technical Updates
Translate Transaction Operations from the User Interface (UI)
You can now add translations for contract/transaction operations directly in the UI. The translation icon has been reused from other records like item file and allows for the entry of translated text. That translation then shows in the operations dropdown for users set to that language
QuikLink Emails: Speak Your Customer’s Language
We have added a language selector to the email screen. It will auto-fill it from your print screen choice or it can be manually set. This ensures system-generated text is translated for your customer. Key phrases like Verification Link, Web Payment Link, Click Here to eSign, and Click Here to Review Your Order now match the language selected so that there are no longer incongruous, untranslated phrases in an email.
